Another Day of Battles
And here we are again talking about battles! A little late - due to weekend and distance from the PC - but just in time before the start of the combat phase of the next brawl.
For those unfamiliar with brawls, these are in fact divided into 3 phases:
- preparatory phase, in which you select the in which you want to play;
- combat phase, in which ... well, you fight!
- results phase, in which the leaderboard is shown and you can enjoy some rest before the next brawl.
After a good placement in the previous week (sixth position), this time the result drops a bit and we find ourselves grabbing a decent eighth position.
As already reported by one of our leaders @libertycrypto27 (whom I invite you to follow, especially if you are into #PlayToEarn games on blockchain, because he writes some very useful mini-guides full of information about lot of interesting titles, including his own purchases and strategies ... it's like the Holy Grail for gamers!) and as already reported in my previous reports, the opponents are very strong and what at first glance may look like a mediocre result - not to have finished last - it's actually something not so easy to achieve every time... congratulations therefore, as always, to the whole team and, in particular, to @alequandro who, despite a bug in the game that caused him to automatically lose a game, didn't get discouraged and took home two very good wins!
As for the results of the individual members, a mention also goes to the always in shape @road2horizon who, from the top of his first place in the standings, demolished his opponents, bringing back home six wins out of nine games played! The opponents are still there licking their wounds.
Moving on to my games, five wins and four defeats allow me to close with a positive partial and a second place: the choosen was the usual Novice league with Chaos Legion cards, in which I played the games that we are now going to quickly recap.
- Quora Towershead is a bit of a constant in my reports ... but just take a look at the replay of the game to understand why: no matter the number of opponents or the penalties in force in the game ... if Quora menages to make some kills, good luck stopping her!
1st defeat - obviously things can change if Quora Towershead is also deployed by my opponent: the game is decided by a clash between these two, clash which doesn't end in my favor.
2nd victory - As in the previous game, here too a bit at randomness is involved, since both my opponent and I bet everything on the inseparable pair of giants Grum / Chimney ... but this time I was the winner!
3rd Victory - When the allows to only have creatures with mana cost four or less, I never doubt which Summoner to deploy: Thaddius Brood and his legion of always give me great satisfaction.
2nd defeat - in a match with only melee creatures available, I chose to focus on speed rather than brute strength... sometimes I assure you it works ... even if this was clearly not one of those times...
3rd defeat - another mirror between Quora Towershead... and another defeat... it seems that I rely heavily on Quora but have not yet figured out how to fully exploit its potential: here we definitely have room for improvement .
- aaaaaand... third mirror! In this it seems that we all had Quora hahaha @maruskina you are the only one missing, it seems! Everybody let's cross our fingers and hopefully it will pop up in one of your next Gladius packs :)
4th defeat - great match for my opponent, with very similar teams but very different final result.
5° vittoria - opponent fled.
We come to the end of another report: I have already rented the necessary cards for the next brawl and in about 24 hours I will proceed with the selection of the teams... who knows what the result will be and what I will have to tell you in the next report!
What matters most, however, apart from the results, is to continue to have fun and grow together, both as individuals and as a guild ... and, in this regard, I can only end by quoting the motto of the Guild!

Un'Altra Giornata di Battaglie
Ed eccoci qua di nuovo a parlare di battaglie! Un po' in ritardo rispetto al solito - causa weekend e lontananza dal pc - ma giusto in tempo prima dell'inizio della fase di combattimento della prossima brawl.
Per chi non fosse pratico di brawl, queste si dividono infatti in 3 fasi:
- fase preparatoria, in sui si seleziona la in cui si vuole giocare;
- fase di combattimento, in cui... be', si combatte ovviamente!
- fase dei risultati, in cui viene stilata la classifica finale e ci si puo godere un po' di riposo prima della successiva brawl.
Dopo un buon piazzamento nella settimana precedente (sesta posizione), stavolta il risultato cala un po' e ci troviamo ad agguantare una comunque dignitosa ottava posizione.
Come gia riferito dai uno dei nostri leader @libertycrypto27 (che vi invito a seguire, soprattutto se siete appassionati di giochi play to earn su blockchain, perche scrive delle miniguide utilissime e ricchissime di informazioni su un sacco di titoli pieni di potenzialita, con indicazione anche dei suoi acquisti e strategie... praticamente il Sacro Graal dei gamers!) e come gia riportato nei miei precedenti reports, gli avversari sono di alto livello e quello che a prima vista puo sembrare un risultato mediocre - ossia non essere arrivati ultimi - e in realta un qualcosa di non tanto facile da raggiungere ogni volta... un complimenti quindi, come sempre, a tutto il team e, in particolare, ad @alequandro che, nonostante un bug del gioco che gli ha causato una sconfitta automatica cosi a caso, non si e demoralizzato e si e portato a casa due ottime vittorie!
Per quanto riguarda i risultati dei singoli membri, una menzione spetta anche al sempre in forma @road2horizon che, dall'alto del suo primo posto in classifica, demolisce gli avversati portandosi a casa la bellezza di sei vittorie su nove partite giocate! Gli avversarsi sono ancora li a leccarsi le ferite.
Passando alle mie partite, cinque vittorie e quattro sconfitte mi consentono di chiudere con un parziale positivo ed un secondo posto nella classifica generale: la scelta e stata la solita di livello Novizio con carte Chaos Legion, in cui ho disputato le partite che ora andiamo velocemente a ricapitolare.
1° vittoria - Quora Towershead e un po' una costante dei miei report... ma basta dare un'occhiata al replay della partita per capire come mai: non importa il numero degli avversari ne i malus in vigore nella partita... se Quora ingrana qualche kill in bocca al lupo a fermarla! (ed occhio, perche il lupo sono io!
1° sconfitta - ovviamente le cose rischiano di cambiare se Quora Towershead viene schierata anche dal mio avversario: la partita viene decisa da uno scontro tra queste due, che, ahime, non termina a mio favore.
2° vittoria - Come nella partita precedente, anche qui le cose si risolvono un po' a caso, dato che sia io che il mio avversario puntiamo tutto sulla inseparabile coppia di giganti Grum/Chimney... ma stavolta a spuntarla sono io!
3° vittoria - quando il impone di schierare solo creature con costo di mana pari o inferiore a quattro, non ho mai dubbi su quale Evocatore schierare: Thaddius Brood e la sua legione di mi regalano sempre grandi soddisfazioni.
2° sconfitta - in un match con disponibili solo creature corpo a corpo, scelgo di puntare sulla velocita piu che sulla forza bruta... alle volte vi assicuro che funziona... anche se questa non e chiaramente stata una di quelle volte...
3° sconfitta - un altro mirror fra Quora Towershead... ed un'altra sconfitta... sembrerebbe che faccio molto affidamento su Quora ma senza aver ancora capito come sfruttarne a pieno il potenziale: qui abbiamo decisamente spazio per migliorare.
4° vittoria - neanche a farlo a posta... terzo mirror! A questo giro sembra che ce l'avessimo proprio tutti Quora ahahah @maruskina mi sa che manca solo a te! Incrociamo tutti le dita e speriamo salti fuori in una delle tue prossime bustine Gladius :)
4° sconfitta - ottima partita per il mio avversario, con squadre molto simili ma risultato finale molto diverso.
5° vittoria - vittoria per abbandono dell'avversario.
Arriviamo cosi alla fine di un altro report: ho gia rentato le carte necessarie per la prossima brawl e fra circa 24 ore procedero alla selezione dei team... speriamo bene per i risultati e chissa cosa avro da raccontare nel prossimo report!
L'importante pero, risultati a parte, e continuare a divertirsi e crescere insieme, sia come singoli che come gilda... e, a tale proposito, non possono chiudere che citando il motto della Gilda!
