Electroneum is trying to ride the crypto-art phenomenon. Not another NFT gallery, minting or selling site, just a freelancing opportunity...
The Non Fungible Tokens are exploding, with new galleries and crypto-art selling sites pop up all around the network everyday.
Still fresh are the news of an nft about Nyan cat sold for half a million dollars and Jack Dorsey, famous creator of Twitter (amongst
other techno-amazing things) who sold his first tweet (as a piece of NFT art) for more than 2.5 millions of dollars.
But wait..
What is a non-fungible token?
Well briefly (and rougly), a non fungible token is a piece of data, usually an image that is stored in the blockchain (usually Ethereum
where they where implemented for the first time) and signed with an unique code and just stays there till the end of times.
That thing solved a big problem of the digital art which is uniqueness, because if we can easily (almost) demostrate that a painting
made by an artist is unique and original creation by that artist and that for obvious practical reasons even the artist itself can't clone
it exactly, for digital art can be impossible to say which picture is the master and which is a mere copy (sorry for being simplicistic).
So with this technology one can store an unique piece of bits (sometimes quite big and strange) and can say that it is his property.
To be clear one can still do a perfect copy of the image (maybe the author will not be so happy with it but...) you will never own the
original (till the artist do not sell that token to you letting you re-sign with another code) thats is only in a precise position in the
block-chain, marked with that precise, unique code. More (accurate) Informations here.
Electroneum
Now Electroneum which is a well estabilished crypto with good plans for the future, in the beginning of her release was given
for free to all the smartphone's users that downloaded the lighweight miner on their phone, and when entered on the phase two
( i wrote an article about that phase 2 find it here) the company closed the faucets and created a Electroneum based marketplace
called AnyTask ( https://anytask.com/ ) which in short is a place where freelancers can sell their services and being payed in
Electroneum while companies can request services for a good (often low) price decided by the freelancer without strings attached.
The Point
The point is that since the crypto-art market sky-rocketed, Electroneum, starting from December 2020 did a joint project with
Blockchain Heroes , a company which makes amazing NFT collectible trading cards (give them a look here) and are looking for
(almost) any kind of artists from animators,illustrators to musicians to join the marketplace for freelancers AnyTask so that they can
create pieces of art based on the requests from customers.

I hope that the new can interest someone even if i suspect that it could be hard to get a good price for your creations.
Anyway it is a good work opportunity and you do not have to worry about being understood as an artist or stand out in the super
crowded crypto art platforms. it would be like being a mercenary that serves beauty vision of another human being, not capable of
shaping reality with tracts of pencil like you.
