In a move that is sure to excite the cryptocurrency and blockchain communities, Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has partnered with Ripple to create NFTs. This marks the first such initiative from a world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer.

NFT PRO is also involved in the project and will be responsible for developing the collection as the company specializes in corporate white-label NFT solutions. On the other hand, Ripple, or rather XRP Ledger, will be providing the blockchain infrastructure for Ducati’s NFTs.

Besides raising brand awareness, Ducati’s latest move aims to increase contact with Ducatisti, the company’s community of fans. With this decision, Ducati officially declares its entry into the Web 3.0 space.

Overview of Ripple

Ripple is a San Francisco-based technology company. It was founded in 2012 by Jed McCaleb, Arthur Britto, and Chris Larsen. Ripple provides a global financial settlement service for banks and other institutional players.

The company’s main product is xRapid, a software solution that allows financial institutions to settle cross-border payments in real-time. Ripple also offers xCurrent, a messaging platform that allows banks to communicate, and xVia, a payment interface that allows companies to send payments through Ripple’s network.

The company has partnerships with major financial institutions all over the world, including American Express, Santander, and UBS.

XRP is Ripple’s digital currency and is currently the seventh largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. With Ripple’s partnership with Ducati, we can expect to see more mainstream adoption of XRP and other cryptocurrencies.

XRP can send and receive payments in any currency, including fiat currencies like the US Dollar, Japanese Yen, and Euro.

Why Ducati Chose Ripple

Ducati’s decision to choose Ripple as a partner is likely due to the company’s experience providing blockchain solutions for major financial institutions. With Ripple, Ducati can launch its NFTs on a secure and scalable blockchain platform.

A Partnership With Great Potential

The people from Ripple and NFT Pro are also excited about the partnership.

David Schwartz, Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer, said:

“The launch of Ducati’s NFT is a major milestone and achievement for the adoption of blockchain technology. We are excited to partner with Ducati and NFT Pro to bring this project to life.”

“Ducati is a world-renowned brand and we are honored to be working with them on this project,” said Massimo Barberio, NFT Pro’s CEO.

What’s Next for Ducati and Ripple?

Ducati and Ripple have not announced any specific plans for their NFT collection. However, we can expect to see more details in the coming months.

In the meantime, we will keep a close eye on both companies to see how this partnership develops.

This is certainly an exciting development and one that will generate a lot of interest in the NFT space. We can’t wait to see what Ducati comes up with next. Stay tuned for more updates.
