I discovered in the Binance 2023 year in review that I mostly traded AVAX and SOL in 2023. While I'm a big believer in Ethereum's potential as the most decentralized smart contract platform, I'm not an ETH maxi. I'm still holding my BTC as a long-term investment.
AVAX and SOL were in fact only like my one night adventures... And you, do you mostly believe in BTC, ETH... Or SOL?
If you mostly believe in BTC:
- You probably want to change the world. You think the current system does not work, and the banks will fail.
- ETH believers look corrupted to you. You may think ETH is one more shitcoin.
- Regarding SOL holders, you think they do not understand what decentralization means.
If you mostly believe in ETH:
- You think BTC maxis are nice guys, but not realistic.
- You believe smart contracts will replace Airbnb and Uber.
- You think all the other smart contract blockchains will become Ethereum layer-2 chains... Or will die.
If you mostly believe in SOL:
- You think BTC and ETH maxis are nice guys, but not realistic.
- You believe in fast and cheap transactions.
- You think SOL will flip ETH in 2024.
