Samsung has "recently" added a crypto wallet to their phones, that allows to use bitcoin without installing third party software. But, what're the benefits, for bitcoin economy and for end users ?
Letting more people use bitcoin
Finding the best wallet is complicated. It can reduce potental new users because of they're lazy of doing this "work". Seeing a preinstalled app makes things so easier for newbies.
Fearful people also might think "it's from samsung, so it isn't a threat".
Safer than other wallets
Because of this wallet is only made for these phone models, it's improved for using their category of cryptographic chips, so signing a transaction is safer (many wallets use CPU for that), and some specific storages (for the keys).
Also dev tools
This wallet also includes development tools, for making blockchain development easier, so it's also good for the entire ecosystem.
Only some little problems
These problem are that, if users put high amounts (and forget bip39 meaning), they will only use samsung products (#monopoly), and that it will impact modders, because of mods might lose improvements like these chips (or manage them worse than stock rom).
