Hey you! Yeah you! Do you remember either playing Farmville or constantly getting notifications from your friends/family from Farmville?! Some of us may have also played the marijuana version farming plants! Good times huh? What if I told you, you could earn crypto/NFTs by playing Townstar?
What is play to earn you ask? Play to earn games allow you to farm/collect crypto & NFTs by playing the game regularly. When playing you can earn tokens that are "In game value" but also has external value. Townstar rewards in Towncoin (at the time of writing one coin is $1.53 USD).It's not as easy as hopping on to play and start earning right away though. In order to start collecting rewards, you have to have Gala power, own & place a NFT on your Townstar farm.*NOTE-You can still play without collecting rewards if you want to practice or learn the game before investing in yourself* So.. To make money you gotta have money right? Purchasing Gala coin from an exchange & transferring it over to your Gala wallet covers the "Gala power" part. The more Gala you hold the better, On top of holding Gala you must place a townstar NFT on your farm.
How does one get a NFT you ask? Well, you could purchase directly from Gala but those tend to be a bit pricey $2k+ USD. I don't have money like that, I mean I'm trying to earn moneys while playing right? You could also purchase from secondary markets like Opensea.io, But those are also pretty spendy. One way to get a NFT without spending thousands, is to purchase a Gala Gold subscription which gives you special access to Gala's discord server. With Gold status you will receive announcements & sneak peaks before it is made to the public, communication with Gala staff, and your townstar NFT. When joining the server you'll have access to other Gala games topics as well. Gala gold subscription costs like 84 gala or so, So make sure you have enough when transferring over your funds, and like I said, the more Gala power you have the better. When transferring I suggest transferring as much as you can in one go, because them gas fees hurt. You'll also need a small amount of Ethereum to cover the transfer fee as well.
Once you're a Gala Gold member, you can access your discord gold member topics AND you get your NFT! For my NFT i received the Express Depot, shortening my trade timer. To place on my farm I sold my default trade truck and then after deciding where you want your NFT click the blue box on the bottom right corner, find your NFT and place! Complete daily quests to earn 1 town coin, Holding more Gala power & NFTs on your farm increases your rewards. From here you can purchase more NFTs with your towncoin, but it will take time.
