In this post I will be covering a brand new NFT based Game called Crypterium and why I feel this game might really explode in the upcoming bull run.
What makes it really different from the other blockchain based NFT games out there is the focus on visuals and graphics. Most of the NFT based games are really crude in terms of visual effects. This is done primarily to maintain decent speed when players interface with it through the website. To overcome this limitation Crypterium is designing a game that can be installed on your computer so higher graphic rendering can be incorporated in the game.
They have onboarded a group of professional game designers to make sure the look and feel of their gameplay is at the level of Playstation and Nintendo.
What will be the Theme of the Gameplay of Crypterium?
The Gameplay of Crypterium will be centred around building your house in the main city you select and interact with the other players to trade collectibles and game based items.
Besides the main city there would be an area called Adventure zone where you will go to fight in PVP (player Vs player) or PVE (player Vs environment) modes.
In PVP mode you need to be careful that if you die while fighting with other players then you will lose all the unconsumed crystals, potions and collectibles you have gathered so far. I think this would add an interesting twist while forming your strategy.
In PVE mode you will fight with dinosaurs and animals roaming around. There will be the option of form Guilds with other players so you can collaborate together to bring down the big bosses.
How will it incorporate Player Driven Economics?
Players who interact with the gaming ecosystem will have the option to propose enhancements, improvements to the game and create any new features or components that can be added. This can be done on the Sandbox. Once a player suggestion is approved by the game devs then the players will earn a part of the profits coming from their creation.
What is Special about NFTs of Crypterium?
Crypterium NFTs will be built on the advanced protocol of ERC3664 which has the advantage over the previous ERC1155 protocol as it permits for creation of dynamic NFTs. You will be able to upgrade your character and add attributes and new features. This will also facilitate enhancement of your weapons and shields. Also there is the option to repair your weapons and shields to fix the wear and tear from the battles. You need to keep in mind thought that if you don’t repair you weapons after a particular level of damage that they will break and can not be repaired.
What is the Tokenomics of Crypterium?
CRPT is the native token of Crypterium and as per the the designed tokenomics there will be 20% reserved for the dev team, 20% for investor, IDO will have 10%, Community incentives 30% and mining rewards 20%.
There will be a initial supply of 3 million tokens launched through IPO and the final total supply will be 5 billion tokens. There will controls in place like token burn to ensure the supply is always regulated.
What is the Roadmap?
Currently there is a beta version of game being played by the community to identify and scope for improvement before the final version is launched. My next post on Crypterium will focus on the beta gameplay and it’s look and feel.
Right now it feels like a hidden gem as the community involved is quite small but I expect to grow significantly in the coming days as they are working on collaboration with other projects.
