Coinbase Wallet App Now Supports Ledger

Coinbase has partnered up with hardware wallet creator LEDGER to offer customers the opportunity to use their cold wallets within the COINBASE Wallet app. Coinbase is one of the most popular centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, and this integration will open up the in-house wallet service to an even broader audience.

Importantly, Ledger is among the most utilized hardware wallets in the crypto space. The wallet issues a password and a 24 words recovery phrase to secure all assets in storage. In addition, the Ledger Live app allows users to manage their cryptocurrencies and NFTs. The hardware wallet supports thousands of coins and gives users full ownership over all those assets.

According to Coinbase senior product manager Adam Zadikoff, the goal with this integration is to allow even more people to join the growing ecosystem of decentralized applications and web3 platforms. Did you know that you can use your Coinbase wallet on DappRadar as well?

What is the Coinbase wallet, and how to use it?

As a cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase facilitates the trade of cryptocurrency tokens and NFTs. In order to offer its users a more complete experience, the exchange launched its in-house wallet.

The wallet allows users to store private keys, send, receive, and spend digital assets, and access dapps. The app, which can be used on a mobile device or web browser, supports more than 4,000 different assets and numerous decentralized applications.

In order to start using Coinbase wallet, simply visit the official website and download the app or web browser extension. The app gives users the option to either create a completely new wallet, or import an already existing one. Now, the wallet also allows users to directly connect their Ledger wallet to the extension as well.

Importantly, the wallet also ranks among the best cryptocurrency wallets for 2022.

Considering this, DappRadar has recently integrated support for the wallet across its whole ecosystem of services. Now, users can log in their DappRadar account, use the DappRadar token swap, and monitor their crypto portfolio by connecting their Coinbase wallet to DappRadar.

If you are a Coinbase wallet user, head to DappRadar and try out this new functionality. Additionally, you can follow DappRadar on Twitter and join our Discord community to learn the latest crypto news first.
