Coinbase announced on Tuesday that the Coinbase Pro app for Android is officially available in the Google Play store.
According to the announcement, the launch of the Android app comes around 3 months after COINBASE Pro went live on iOS. Traders on both mobile operating systems now have access to the over 50 trading pairs available on Coinbase Pro.
“The [app], is a powerful, mobile-first trading platform that was built with a focus on speed, ease of use, and a clean, streamlined trading experience,” states Coinbase in the announcement. “The mobile trading experience provided by the app offers the functionality of our desktop platform, built in a way to make traders feel in control at every step.”
As the dominant mobile operating system globally, Android is a vital piece of the international cryptoeconomy that Coinbase is building. We’re excited to now offer a mobile-first trading experience to Android users in the 100+ countries that we serve.
