Coin Hunt Summary:

For individuals who haven't heard of Coin Hunt World, its a geolocation game downloadable for Android and IOS phones. The games model is similar to Pokemon Go except sooo much better, way more entertaining, way more things to do and way more community based. You collect different coloured keys around the city to unlock vaults which reward you with either BTC, ETH, DOGE and rare NFT’s, with more cryptos coming as game leaves beta phase at the end of May.

Id like to create this article in order to help all the new coin hunters get their hunt started in an efficient, all in one read article to simplify your start and understand the metrics of the game. The CEO of C.H.W is Bill Shihara, who is also the CEO of Bittrex exchange to give you a little info on the head of the team, The rewards for playing are substantial and the further you progress in the game the more rewards you gain, its all free to play and rewards go directly into your uphold wallet. Wether you own crypto or not this is a great way to get started and earn crypto or earn it passively while running your regular errands around town. Im not asking anything in return other then that you use my referral link which I’ve shared at the top and bottom of the article. If your on IOS you’ll need to download the app “Testflight” from the app store before using the referral link or it wont work, android will prompt you automatically. Once Testflight is downloaded you can use this link to download Coin Hunt World. I was never into Pokemon go or any cell phone game for that matter but this is honestly super addictive, way more fun and you literally get paid to play this game, to give you an idea the top coloured vaults, which are rare, are $1000 dollar rewards. Crypto packages and key rewards are also available for players at the top of the leaderboards. Happy Hunting!

Getting Started With Headquarters and Key Hunting:

The first thing you're going to want to do is build your headquarters at your house, this is where you'll receive any prizes, where you can view the shop (to buy cubie skin blueprints in the form of NFTs, different rarity skins cost different amount of keys, they only put one skin in the shop at a time) where you can chat with other friends to coordinate buddy quests and where prize packages will go when you receive bonuses from setting up user vaults, giving out referrals and more. Also once you set up your HQ it will give you a free Green Key to claim every 24 hours.

Once you gain some keys you can then find a Vault of the same colour, open it up and you will then be prompted for a trivia question, the questions are not crypto related but instead have multiple categories you can choose from each time. When you answer the question correctly you receive free crypto and sometimes building supplies for the game such as paint or resin. Yellow tier or higher keys cannot currently just be picked up around town, the way you acquire those colours is by trading in lower tier keys or completing buddy quests. 10 blue keys can be traded for 1 Green Key, 10 green keys for 1 yellow key, 10 yellow keys for 1 red key and 10 red keys for 1 purple key. Depending on your motives It's equally as important to be stacking Keys as it is to be opening vaults, currently the game is still in the beta version so blue and green are the main colours that you can acquire on a daily basis.

To get your headquarters going it will cost 1 green key, the game starts you off with 8 Blues so go collect 2 more to trade it for a green. You'll notice once you collect a key at a key booth the symbol will be replaced with a different symbol until that key reloads, you click on that different symbol and that's where you can trade in keys to forge for higher coloured keys. Once you have a Green Key you'll see a green house symbol pop up (see below) in the top left corner, once in your desired location click the symbol to set up your HQ. Its recommend to set up you HQ in an accessible location such as your home, you will be the only one who can view your personal HQ.

User Vaults:

The 2nd thing you want to start working on is placing your user vaults. User vaults are the same thing as normal vaults except they are placed by other players, not placed by the game itself, the difference will be that these vaults have the player's cubie character hovering above them. Once you set up user Vault you get rewarded with a 5% of blue keys other players put into your vaults, it cost 1 green key to unlock a user vault which can be done from your HQ. You will only be able to place a maximum of 10 user vaults with the goal of placing them in high traffic areas with lots of foot traffic such as tourist spots, parks, shopping centres, etc. I've placed mine in areas where theres high foot traffic, near 4 way intersections so you get people walking from multiple directions.

Once you've used a green key to unlock a user vault from your HQ menu, a little blue symbol will pop up (see above) on the top left of your screen. Go to you’re desired location to place a vault and click that symbol and it will prompt you to take a picture of the area you’re planning to place a UV. Fill in the required info and submit for the dev team to review the location and you’ll see a flag pop up temporarily to mark that area. Once approved you’ll be notified in your HQ inbox, when you return you'll notice a cubie dozer has replaced the flag, this cubie dozer needs to be filled with 10K resin in order to activate your user vault. Other players can fill your dozer with resin in order to receive LBP (leaderboard points), you don't receive leaderboard points for filling up your own dozer, only other players dozers, this incentivizes the community to work together.

I'd recommend setting up UV’s fairly quickly as the more the game grows the harder it is to fit your UV’s in prime “hotspots”. UV’s cannot be placed within 100 meters of other players UV’s or 50 meters from keybooths so good areas can fill up quickly. What you can do is replace normal vaults with your own UV’s by placing your dozer on them. You can place as many dozers as you want (up to 10) at the same time, there is no time limit to fill them up with resin so get your spots locked in asap, you don't need to do one dozer at a time.

While we are on this topic we will talk about cubie cranes. The game devs often put on community events which everyone participates collectively, for example they will place a cubie crane in which everyone has to work together to fill with resin and once it's filled up a yellow vault will be placed there permanently for the all players to use. The tiers above that, red and purple, are extra rare and only placed for limited time during big events. Cubie cranes are placed by the game devs and need to be filled up with resin by the community as a whole. Once the crane is filled up a yellow vault will be placed there permanently and can be opened by the community. Yellow vaults take 1 week to reload and are $10 dollars worth of crypto when the trivia question is answered correctly, so work together to fill those cranes!

Building Supplies:

I mentioned sometimes opening vaults also rewards you with building supplies such as resin, which I've spoken about above, paint, and sometimes limited edition supplies during special events. The paint is used to craft your cubie skins once you've acquired blueprints. Blueprints can be acquired through the shop, helping complete community events such as filling cranes, or common blueprints gifted through vault rewards at the start of the game. Remember these are NFT’s and will be sellable when the game leaves beta stage. (open the shop at your HQ to see what Blueprint is currently being offered, the more rare the blueprint, the higher the cost of keys, only one blueprint will be offered at a time). Once you’ve acquired a blue print, you must hunt down a print shop in your area. Print shops (Orange icon seen below) are located at every Walmart, Target, and Canadian Tire in Canada and the USA, they can also be found sometimes at areas like shopping malls or big markets. Once you find a print shop you can insert the blue print you’d like to forge and it will show the building materials need to complete the forge. If your click the square with the blue key on the bottom right of your screen this is where you can find your inventory. Depending on the tab you click you can view how many keys you have, how much crypto you’ve collected, your building supples, cubie blueprints and what cubie skins you've already forged.

Buddy Quests:

BQ’s can be done internationally, once you have some friends you'll have to wait for a prompt in your HQ mailbox asking if you would like to start a buddy Quest. You can connect with the respective player through the C.H.W discord channel so be sure to sign up to that which can also be done at your HQ. Each player will have to find a seesaw icon within a 3 Mile/~5KM radius of their respective HQs which has turned into the quest location, you will see red pings emanating from the direction you should look. You will have to coordinate with your buddy and each of you will have to be present at your respective BQ locations at the same time to complete the task, BQ’s last a week before expiring. You can only have 1 BQ active at a time, so you may want to keep only active users on your friends list. The reward for completing a buddy Quest is a yellow key and Tier 3 LBPs as show above. To add friends to your game you click the little cubie symbol on the bottom left of your screen and it will prompt you to the profile page. Here you can view and share you referral link or QR code, once you’ve successfully added a friend you can click on them and see their rank as well as discord username. Id recommend only keeping friends that have connected to the discord channel as this is how you link up to coordinate you BQ’s if paired up. If a buddy quest gets prompted and you have no way of connecting with them, you have to wait a week for it to expire and wait for another BQ message in your HQ mailbox.

Leaderboard points:

Gaining position on the leaderboard is important because at the end of each month prizes are awarded to global and national leader in the form of crypto packages and keys. Try and focus on the highest LBP objectives to gain the most positions, below is a break down of the tasks available and the rewards given upon completion. Top 50 players on the national leaderboard receive crypto packages ascending in value based on position and top 50 global leader receive rewarded keys. Top 5 players receive red keys, 1st place receives 5 red keys, 2nd receives 4 red keys, 3rd receives 3 red keys, 4th receives 2 red keys, and 5th place receives 1 red key. Previous leaderboard winner can be viewed on the Wiki page I’ve linked at the bottom of this Guide.
