If you don't know what airdrop are, just know that they are free money, simply by interacting on chains and dapps without tokens. I received Celestia both as an EVM user and as an Atom staker. I sold my $Tia at $2.26-2.30 (around 2000 USDT), however I think I will buy them back by selling $Atom staking rewards. I get 1 $Atom per day from staking so I can start my DCA on $Tia. For the Bull Run, obviously. I took even bigger airdrops, for example Paraswap (9.3k) or Forth (7k), EVMos (7k), etc
I also got Pyth Protocol (4040+1475 $Pyth). The price of the token should start at $0.20 so this is a nice bag. Again, this is an unexpected airdrop. Not wanted/sought. Absolutely random. Do you remember $Forth? Gifted to $AMPL holders? Well a similar thing (for both Celestia and Pyth).
The third Jupiter Aggregator airdrop I don't know if I will be eligible but I think so because I have used Jupiter a lot (thanks to Star Atlas). In this case it is a searched airdrop. AIRDROP IN WHICH I PARTICIPATE
You cannot participate in the 3 previous airdrops because by the time the airdrop announcement arrives it is too late, however you can make up for it with these. LAYERZERO
I tell you that $ according to rumors could be released by December 13, 2023 because a dapp has announced that it will be active from December 12 and will use $ZRO as gas. It's too late now.
ZKSYNC AND STARKNET
is being discussed in Q1 2024. Starknet has announced the launch of the token in April 2024. Both are layer2 of ETH, however Starknet is a little different because it is not EVM and uses other wallets (Braavos and Argent X).
BASE AND LINEA
have centralized companies behind them: COINBASE (they are listed on the stock exchange) and Consensys (the company that manages Metamask). The SEC could sue them if they launch a token (labeling it as an "unregistered securities"). However, Base has made it clear that the token is not ruled out in the future. They could be big airdrops so I decided to use them anyway. Furthermore, even behind Metamask, there have been strong airdrop rumors for years (also anticipated by the founders themselves).
ZKEVM AND MANTLE
would have ETH as a gas fee and Matic as a Governance token, however could they give incentives in Matic for those who use their layer2? If you think about it, that's what is doing. This layer2 already has its own $BIT token (later converted into $MNT) and now with the "Mantle Journey" they have an incentivized mainnet. You interact on their chain and earn points therefore $MNT (distributed in Q1 2024). If you want to participate you still have time: Journey Mantle (Earn MJ Miles Points)
You earn 100 points, you get other points by swapping in DeFi and carrying out simple tasks (such as connecting mail). Each swap (even $1) guarantees you points which will then be converted into $MNT at the end of the season. Where do you get $MNT to use the chain? SCROLL AND MANTA PACIFIC
These layer2 were launched a few weeks ago and I believe they will launch their token in mid-2024. Excellent interaction and fee of 0.30/0.40$. For you can use Syncswap for example, for instead Aperture Finance for example.
OPBNB AND ZORA
maybe won't launch its token but I'm using it anyway. opBNB would already have BNB as a gas token. It is essentially a layer2 of the BNB Chain. will definitely have a token and using Mint Fun (Mintdrop) you could receive 2 airdrops: Mint Fun airdrop (you receive points by minting free NFT on this site. Obviously you will have to have gas tokens on Zora or Base or Optimism or Ethereum) and Zora Airdrop. LENS PROTOCOL AND DEBANK
Ok, in this case we are talking about two SocialFi. will probably also launch his own layer2. Instead Lens Protocol is launching its v2 profiles. Web3 is here! To participate in these 2 airdrops you should buy a web3 ID ($96) and a Lens profile (around $50), I don't recommend you do this. If you have a small budget, it is better to use these funds to perform swaps in the chains mentioned above.
