Cartesi Launches High-Score Contest for Upcoming Tower Defense Blockchain Game

Cartesi, a Singapore-based company behind a decentralized and scalable Linux infrastructure, has launched a high-score contest for its upcoming tower defense tournament game called Creepts.

According to the announcement, the contest, which will be held until Feb. 9, will be using a traditional client-server version of Creepts to initially help Cartesi’s tech team in debugging the early version of the game, which is set for launch later in the month.

The contest will have three map rotations, each of which will last two days. The player who will be able to achieve the highest score for each of the three maps in the contest will be rewarded with prizes worth $500 worth in CSI tokens

The contest release schedule is:

  • Map 1: February 1, 2020 — February 3, 2020
  • Map 2: February 4, 2020 — February 6, 2020
  • Map 3: February 7, 2020 — February 9, 2020

After achieving their highest score, players are required to retrieve their highest score gameplay log for each map and submit it along with their ETH Address and other info a Google Form that Cartesi provided.

Only one submission will be accepted per player.

Cartesi will distribute CTSI tokens within two weeks of CTSI Exchange listing.

Cartesi is a layer-2 platform designed for the development and deployment of scalable DApps. It enables DApps to be run on Linux that can be verified by the blockchain.
