Earlier this week Candy Digital made some huge announcements about the platform and the upcoming feature releases! Before these announcements to really learn and find out about what was being released and when you would have to be part of their Discord and pay attention to what they said! Now with the announcement of creating a blog for developments they also released the roadmap below!
This roadmap is extremely complete and through which is really important to see! The biggest feature that is getting ready to come out and I am extremely excited for is the launch of the secondary market! When they released their first NFT packs I kept one unopened incase their values were really high and based off of what I have hear from people on Discord there is a huge demand for more packs!
The in their blog post the team announced that the secondary market would go live Jan 15th! What a fantastic New Years gift! Starting the first week of January collectors in the US will be able to list there MLB items but the selling wont be activated till the 15th. This will give people a great ability to see what prices people are trying to get for certain things. It is important to note that the buying and selling will not be done in crypto. For this launch the items will be bought and sold on the site but you will have a Candy Balance from your resulting sales (buys will be automatically be charged via credit card so you wont have a balance like you would with a sell)!
I look forward to seeing the rest of this developed and built out. I have to say maybe the MLB lockout will be helpful in giving the Candy development team more time to check off some more things from this list! They have not listed any other times beside the January 15th launch of the secondary market so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to develop.
