C. Masta Update

Do repost and rate:

So I was like half minding my own business; collecting (and also redistributing) drops on a cool Discord server, when the dope server MOD adds a jukebox to the channel, and, after some interruption by a guy that added a couple of bad Eminem songs, ends up introducing me to the musician Oliver Tree. I hadn't listened to any one song on repeat for a good, long time (besides Corridors of Time from Chrono Trigger), but after I found Alien Boy, I broke that streak. Who knows, maybe I'll write one this year. I enjoy some of C. Masta's music, so I believe he's a little overdue...

I also hadn't written a blog entry in almost two months, but it's not because I was dead. In fact, since my last entry, I got a job that gives some sort of reasonably good purpose beyond putting all of my rocks in a backpack on my daughter's shoulders and expecting her to achieve what I couldn't. That's good, right?

Haha, I promise I'll be at least as good an authoritative figure to her than some of the ones I've had were to me. If I don't live up to that, then I'll be damned. This is the wei, isn't it? XD

Man, the internet is crazy. Think about how many peoples' heads you can get in. I mean, you can sit around insulting people without them knowing, or you can get on some social media hub and at least insult them indirectly to their face ??

Guys, there were a whomping ZERO attempts to assassinate Donald Trump while he was president of the USA; or at least that is the figure that's widely available.

Speaking of Americans, they missed out on the Facebook event that could have changed the world when they didn't show up to storm Area 51. I was all embarrassed that I couldn't go because I was working in China at the time, but I guess the laughable number of people that actually showed up makes me feel less guilty. That, AND Americans are still complaining about the free some-million-dollar-lottery they're entered into automatically by getting a vaccine.

What are we doing?

Ideally you won't ever find anyone that you have any reason to heckle, but since when is anything described perfectly holding all the ideal assumptions? Ideality certainly doesn't describe the interactions of fluid particles over a broad range of temperatures and pressure...

But then, that doesn't stop some people from trying to apply those principles anyway without modifying them. In fact, I even do that sometimes... but at least I know enough to know that I don't know better... Such are the drawbacks of knowing a lot about a lot of things but not necessarily enough to do one thing really well...

For example, enough to program a video game in Unity, but not enough to do it effectively and minimize the resource usage... Or enough to say what kind of molecule makes an aubergine purple -- draw it even -- but not enough to isolate and manipulate it in a controlled manner... Or enough to have a pickup sports game and not break any of the rules (maybe even score a point), but nothing about any person who made playing the game their career... Or enough to pick up a Ukulele and play it... but pretty badly...

The benefit of that is... it's good to know.

Have you ever noticed that the letter 'I' is capitalized when it's used as a first-person pronoun? I bet you haven't thought about why it's done that way...

This stuff is good to think about. Mental alchemy.

Alright, my vision for this blog article has been just about fulfilled. Back to earning more small amounts of crypto on Discord while I do something else...
