Brave Search vs Google Search, who will be the BEST Search Engine?

Hey guys! How's going? I hope it's all right!

Brave continues to grow more and more along with its community of crypto amateurs and this allows it to think bigger and bigger. However, it must be said that even before crypto, BRAVE cares a lot about the privacy of its users; in fact, privacy, if we analyze online services of any kind, is becoming more and more a dominant trend over the years, which is inevitable considering the size of the internet and the responsibilities that come with it.

Brave, after having realized the idea of a private and valid alternative to Google Chrome, with the advent of the new year, has set itself new very ambitious but not impossible goals: to build a private and secure search engine at the height of Google Search.

But is this possible? Let's find out!

First of all, the principles behind Brave Search are the following, which differentiate it (in a positive way) from Google Search:

- it will be private, meaning it will not track or profile users.

- it will be "user-first", in the first place there will be the user and not advertisements or related industries (such as Brave Browser).

- it will be as the user prefers, i.e. it will offer two search options, the paid one without advertising and the one supported by advertising (similar concept to Brave Browser).

- it will be completely independent, based also, and above all, on the contributions of the community, over time of course.

- it will be transparent, the search results will be the result of clear search methods that will not be influenced in any way by big industries or censorship.

- it will be seamless, that is, it will offer the best integration between the browser and the search without compromising privacy, from personalization to instant results as the user types.

- it will be, above all, open.

In this regard, Brave, a month or so ago, announced the acquisition of Tailcat, the open search engine developed by the team formerly responsible for privacy research and browser products at Cliqz, a holding company of Hubert Burda Media. Tailcat already fulfills many of the points listed above and will certainly be a good base on which to continue developing Brave Search.

Will it be a sort of challenge to Google? Will Google Search change because of Brave Search?

Does Brave really want to challenge Google for the best search engine? But above all, will it succeed?

I'm very confident and curious about this new project and I can't wait for it to become reality!
