Brave Browser is one of the most popular crypto browsers out there right now but even great developers sometimes drop a dud and that seems to have happened yesterday. Before you freak out and worry it is not going to be anything that will upset or ruin the great thing they have going! So what did the development team do? Well, they announced their first Solana NFT collection on the day when SOL was absolutely getting killed and was down 44% at one point even dipping under $14 into the $13 range at one point.   This did not come out of left field though as last year they announced that due to gas fees they were going to be shifting to adding Solana features and options since at the time it was doing great and was much much cheaper. The collection was even mentioned a few months ago but I had forgotten about it until I saw the announcement. Overall, there isn't really anything wrong with the collection and it really helps further BATs utility.  How does it help BATs utility you might be wondering? BRAVE partnered with Magic Eden, the largest NFT marketplace on Solana, to launch this collection, and part of this partnership allows users to purchase the NFTs with BAT or wBAT to be exact. In the announcement of the BAT X Adam Ape For Brave collection, Brave even provides the recommended link to the Wormhole Portal Bridge to move the BAT you earn onto the Solana blockchain. The cost will be the same whether you pay in SOL or BAT there is no discount for using BAT and will cost 3 SOL and whatever the BAT equivalent of that is which at the time of writing was roughly 225 BAT.   In the long run, this will work out for Brave as it shows how they are continuing to refine their product and add utility to their token. However, given the current status of not just the crypto markets but Solana in particular, it is a little bit of a bold move that at least for now I will assume falls flat. I would expect to see them continue to roll out more and more collections though with various other artists.
