Bog v1 Post Mortem
Bogged Finance is a very much active and alive project on BSC! Much like our friends at AutoShark, Bogged was the subject of an exploit earlier in 2021. Rather than let dead things stay dead, Zombie is doing what it always does; having a bit of fun while commemorating this loss.
So What Happened?
According to Yahoo News, the flash loan exploit caused a hefty 3million dollar drain. Flash Loans unfortunately have become all too common in the world of defi. Even reputable projects need to be careful as no one is immune to these vulnerabilities.
Bogged Team was quick to respond, stopping the attack in nearly 45 seconds. The Bogged team is doing a phenomenal job responding and recovering from this event. They were able to remove the liquidity from the v1 contract through the same method of the attacker, in what is called a “white hat” attack and used this liquidity to compensate their users AND restore liquidity in a new token contract.
What is RugZombie doing?
RugZombie will be listing a commemorative GRAVE for BOG in commemoration of the event. We do not want to use version 1 of BOG, as this project is still live, but we very much can recommend users to purchase BOG v2 to receive ACCESS TOKEN for this grave.
We will be issuing a zBOG token that can be accessed for all BOG holders. This means that current and future holders of BOG can receive some zTOKENS while supplies last.
Why a Ztoken? Well, as BOG is an active project, we don’t want to actively ask users to drop BOG as a deposit token. We would rather you keep your BOG!
