The last year or so has been tough on the crypto market as a whole but especially tough for the WAX ecosystem. Over the last few months, we have seen numerous WAX-based projects disappear, leaving their communities left holding the bag with no information or pathway forward. Couple those blows given to the WAX community by shady project managers, with a decrease in WAXP price from roughly $0.90 in December of 2021 to less than $0.09 now, and even legit projects struggled to continue their operations due to high overhead costs or lack of strategy.
Regarding BlockchainRPG, we have always had a small team of 3-4 people and have operated in a lean structure that allowed us to get through the last few months without leaving our community hanging. Albeit development on BlockchainRPG has been a bit slower than the team and the community wanted so far, we are still pushing in the right direction to bring our visions and passions to life in BlockchainRPG.
This post today is here to let our community know that we are still building toward our dream and we have recently added a new developer to our team to help brings those goals to fruition.
We would like to provide a warm welcome to Shank, our newest developer with a specialty in C#, to complement our current efforts. BlockchainRPG community members in our discord have already had a chance to see some of what has been worked on, and more updates will follow soon.
As we round out 2022 and formulate our strategy for 2023, the BlockchainRPG community base and overall gameplay will continue to expand with player feedback and adjustments. We are proud to be building on the WAX blockchain and we look forward to what the future holds for our game as well as our community.
