BLOCKLORDS, a blockchain game built on NEO (NEO) and TRON (TRX), announced this week that it has issued the first content update for the NEO-based version of the game.
According to the announcement, the latest update marks the end of BLOCKLORDS’ Gen-0 period, which started back in June with the launch of the game on the NEO blockchain. With the start of Gen-1, 10,000 new items will be uploaded and BLOCKLORDS will feature improved gameplay and lower prices across the board.
Additionally, BLOCKLORDS announced plans to launch on the Ethereum (ETH) mainnet via a Loom Network (LOOM) sidechain, which would likely bring further players and capital to the growing game.
Originally launched on TRON, BLOCKLORDS was the first strategy game to be released on the NEO blockchain. The game is set in medieval Europe that lets players create heroes, trade items, conquer cities and earn taxes on sales made within their borders.
