Blockchain Brawlers takes the top spot in the weekly DappRadar top blockchain games ranking. In the past seven days, the game attracted over 2,000 unique active wallets and generated over $137,000 in NFT trading volume. What’s most impressive, however, is that the game’s native token BRWL saw a 150% increase in valuation over the past seven days. 

Another noticeable trend this week is the overall revival of token valuations in the gaming category. All projects on the list saw a value appreciation, which signals that blockchain games can potentially defy the current bear market trend. 

According to the latest DappRadar and BGA Games report, blockchain gaming activity hit an all-time high in April. Gaming dapps attracted over 1.2 million unique active wallets. This article looks at the hottest gaming dapps of the month by combining on-chain activity, NFT trading volumes, token valuations, and news surrounding the projects.

Top 10 blockchain games – week 20

1. Blockchain Brawlers

Blockchain Brawlers dominates the ranking this week thanks to a massive price increase for its native token BRWL. The in-game currency spiked 150% as more than 2,000 unique active wallets connected to the platform. Another important detail that boosted activity on the platform is the upcoming Artifact Class card pack release on May 25th. 

2. Bomb Crypto

Bomb Crypto has also had an impressive week, ranking second on the list. The bomber-style game attracted more than 21,000 unique active wallets in the past seven days. What’s more, the game’s native token BCOIN saw a value spike of over 90%.

3. Gods Unchained

Trading card game Gods Unchained had a lot of players excited this week with the release of the Divine Order card pack. The game attracted more than 5,000 unique active wallets whilev. 

4. Splinterlands

Hive’s wonder game SPLINTERLANDS loses a bit of traction this week, dropping out of the top 3. Still, the game attracted close to half a million unique active wallets. Additionally, SPS gained over 33% in valuation, while Splinterlands NFTs generated over $9,000 in trading volume on the Wax blockchain. That’s aside from the trading activity on Hive, where the game saw over $600,000 in trading volume. 

5. Alien Worlds

BSC mining game Alien Worlds trails behind Splinterlands once again, ranking fifth this week. The game attracted over 250,00 unique active wallets. What’s more, Alien Worlds’ native currency TLM gained more than 20% in valuation. 

6. Decentraland

Virtual world Decentraland appears back on the weekly games ranking after a substantial period of absence. The platform generated $1.3 million in NFT trading volume in the past seven days. Additionally, its native token MANA appreciated in value by more than 50%. 

7. NFT Worlds

Following closely behind is NFT Worlds, another Ethereum-based virtual world platform. The game recently announced that name registration will be introduced, allowing players to get a .wrld domain name NFT. In addition, the game’s native token WRLD saw a price increase of over 10%.

Polygon-based racing game Pegaxy makes the cut this week, ranking eighth. The game attracted over 58,000 unique active wallets and its native token gained over 16% in valuation. Pegaxy recently launched its closed beta mobile application and owners of eligible NFTs can now try out the platform. 

9. Upland

Real estate simulator Upland is still the most visited dapp on the EOS blockchain. While the game ranks ninth this week, it still attracted over 140,000 unique active wallets in the past seven days.

10. Mobox

BSC NFT farming game Mobox completes the top blockchain games list this week. The platform attracted close to 90,000 unique active wallets and generated over $1.7 million in NFT trading volume in the past seven days. Furthermore, the game’s native token MOBOX saw a price increase of over 20%. 

Blockchain Brawlers is heating up

Blockchain Brawlers is one of the newest additions to Wax’s gaming ecosystem. While the game is still building a solid audience it has already started generating a lot of hype. Brawler and Ring NFTs are trending on Wax’s Atomic Marketplace, while the in-game currency BRWL saw a stellar appreciation of over 150% in the past seven days. 

What’s more, Blockchain Brawlers is still in the early stages of its development. The project has an ambitious roadmap ahead. In the near future, players will be able to rent out and borrow brawlers and rings in order to boost their earnings or generate passive income.
