very shortly after gained traction, was spot on with releasing their BINANCE smart chain.
it basically combined what evolved in the ethereum mainnet with liquidity provision combined with staking for the governance token.
i was quite early because i was already familiar with it.
unfortunately i took a little too much risk and staked my profits into tetrisswap which turned out to be my first rug pull... :-(
almost everything i had on bsc was gone, but the price of cake suddenly started to rise quite strong.
the first versions of the protocol were equal-weighted pools.
in hindsight it would have been best just to stake cake and get the up and coming tokens that most of the time got a farming rewards.
those would now be referred to as death pools, because usually they only went down....
there were also farms to a lot of tokens from the luna "ecosystem"
i was staking my cake for quite some time, but decided to sell them not too long ago, again not the best decision... :-)
currently they have adapted to concentrated liquidty provision and the ve3,3 model for cake.
