Bitcoin for Pizza... anyone?

Do repost and rate:

So guys,

I was sitting this morning, planning the day ahead, thinking of maybe getting some pizza, maybe cashing out some of my earnings and splurging on my favorite Zesty Italian Trio because, after all, yesterday was National Pizza Day, and for me, usually, when a holiday falls on a Thursday, a food holiday, I celebrate all weekend long.

So I was sitting there, thinking about mouthwatering threads of mozarella cheese...

When just like that, I remembered Laszlo Hanyecz, the guy who sold 10,000 Bitcoin for two Papa John pizzas. And guys, listen, Laszlo couldn't have known his Bitcoin would be worth 436,098,000.00 today, right? In fact, according to him in an interview he did with Bitcoin Magazine, the cryptocurrency was just monopoly money back then.

The Bitcoin pizza guy

As the story goes, in 2010, when much of the world knew nothing about  baby Bitcoin, Larry, a programmer from sunny Florida, was an early adopter, even coding a program so that fans could mine for it using their computer graphics card. But then, one day, May 22nd, 2010 to be exact, Larry was bored and maybe wanted some pizza, and so he went onto a Bitcoin chat forum and posted the following legendary message:

"I'll pay 10,000 Bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day.

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.. just standard stuff no weird fish topping or anything like that.

If you're interested please let me know and we can work out a deal."

But guys, do you think I can maybe make an NFT of his quote? Maybe that could earn me some crazy coin, right? Not 10,000 Bitcoin, but still, maybe enough to buy a couple pizzas.

Anyways, guys, so I got to thinking, does this guy, Laszlo, even pizza anymore? Because it were me, I'd probably be allergic at even the thought of cheese right now. Like I'd be punching air every time I saw the Internet bill, literally. I love pizza, I do! But I don't love it

Has no regrets

According to an article published by The Sun last year, though, Laszlo says he still loves pizza and he has no regrets. No regrets! Couldn't be me. I aspire to reach that level of maturity, but I ain't got it, man, I ain't got it. On May 22nd of every year, I'd be curled up under the sheets, turning the lights off and insisting that nothing and no one, absolutely nothing and no one, but God, disturb me.

He's also the Father of GPU Mining

But then again, we're also speaking of the father of GPU mining, so who knows? Maybe Laszlo's genuinely comfortable. He's certainly played an extraordinarily role in contributing to the development of the cryptocurrency industry, wouldn't you say?

And so, guys, now, I'm thinking, I'd hold on to my coins for a bit and maybe head into the kitchen and put a dish today.  was Pizza Day after all, not today.

Pizza, anyone?

Well, guys, that's it for me. I'm gonna whip up a home made up and hold on for a bit to my hard earned crypto coins.

But tell me, how do you use your crypto earnings?

Do you spend it on day to day expenses, trade, or save it? I'm curious.

And, just to leave you with another oldie but goodie, if you come across any faucets like this one...

Please drop me a line because usually, I'm always the last to know.

Okay, guys,  that's it. Have a great Friday! And if you're gonna go out this weekend, please remember to be safe.

Arrivederci!
