Hello everyone, welcome back to my SPLINTERLANDS blog! So I didn't had any good inspiration for this weeks Social Media Challenge post, and I didn't want to make something that doesn't feel and look good, I do however battle every single day so I decided the best I could do is share another Wands Out battle in the Battle Mage Secrets challenge, if I'm not mistaken we can share two posts every week and it doesn't really matter if it's one Battle Mage Secrets post and one Social Media Challenge post, besides, I like battling and making thumbnails!
This weeks Battle Mage Secrets Challenge requires us to make a post about the wands out ruleset, it's a pretty straight forward ruleset in which we are only allowed to play magic cards.

In a wands out ruleset you can do different things, pick a summoner with Void Armor and sustain it with repair, go -1 magic with a void tank or go all void with Immortalis, play taunt / triage or a little mixing and combining these different abilities, that's what I love about this game, the possibilities are almost endless when you include card placement, because that's important too!
This battle I want to share is a 46 mana Brawl battle on my alt account, where only Earth was locked out, my alt has a limited low Silver deck without most legendary summoners so my options are limited here. The scattershot ruleset make this fight a little random because it just depends on where the shots are going to land, so I did a prayer before the fight XD
First look at the battlefield:
So, the void armor is annoying because I need at least 1 extra shot on every monster and Adelade Brightwing is going to repair it... His damage output is low though but like I said, it's a lot RNG now...
My Line-Up:
- : Bortus - reason: -1 magic
- First position: Captains Ghost - reason: I never play this as a tank but with the scattershot, card placement is less important now.
- Second position: Djinn Oshannus - reason: Void, great HP, good damage, I decided not to place him as a tank because now he can be healed if it's necessary with triage.
- Third position: Nerissa Tridawn - reason: Great damage, great HP.
- Fourth position: Riverboat Captain - reason: Blast works great with scattershot!
- Fifth position: Magi of Chaos - reason: Good damage, good HP.
- Sixth position: Spirit Hoarder - reason: Praying this doesn't get hit, triage I why I picked it, low HP though...
The Battle:
A lot of shooting back and forth, no casualties just yet, everything is healed, repaired and triaged.
The first death was on my side ?? Captains Ghost died, no one to heal him, it didn't drop it's affliction so that's not cool...
As revenge, two enemy cards died, including the healer so that's nice! So far my spirit hoarder is still fine.
Nice! the enemy spirit hoarder died, the prayer worked! ??
I mis clicked so the screenshot is from the start of round 6, but the result is the same, 5 against 1 now!
In round 6, the battle ended with a victory!

Well that's it for this week, I hope I really understood the rules correctly and that I'm not breaking any by submitting 2 Battle Mage Secrets posts, I did my best to make 2 seperate good and original posts with seperate thumbnails ??
