In an interesting development, BetFury have updated their ranking system to have more ranks (now 20) and to make things easier to work out ranks are calculated based on USDT value wagered rather than BTC.
Anyway from their news post, the key details are as follows:
1 - There are now 20 ranks available (Previously 11 ranks I believe). Cashback starts at 1% now and goes up to 25% (no change). My take - this is both a good and bad thing - the amount to wager seems a bit easier to get to and with more ranks it's easier to rank up. The downside is the cash-back is reduced for new comers to 1% (from 2%) and only goes back to 2% at the 2nd rank after wagering 3000 USDT of value).
2 - USDT not BTC - Ranking up is now denominated in USDT rather than BTC. 3000 USDT of wagers gets you to level 2 and it goes up from there where if you bet 1,000,000,000 USDT of wagers in total you'll qualify for 25% cashback. I'm fairly sure that overall this is a good thing as it means that the wagering amount is fixed and is not subject to the changes in BTC value. I'm not sure if they''ll adjust if BTC swings up a lot as if could make it a lot easier to rank up if BTC vs USD changes a lot!
3 - Level 2 requires 3,000 USDT of wagers and at level 2 you open up daily tasks. I think they've tried to make this equivalent to 0.1 BTC which is was previously but I think overall this is a good thing as like most of us I think BTC will go back up and so it may make it easier to rank up. I guess we''ll have to see what happens though, as they might adjust the values over time to keep it at a BTC to USD peg of some sort.
Overall up, not major changes but I think the best is denominating the ranks in USDT rather than BTC. It may be just my own feeling but doing so feels easier to track and manage and aim for compared to denominating it in BTC.
So thats about it - I suppose the best thing about this really is it shows that the developers are still active and constantly upgrading and reviewing BetFury so it feels like it's well supported and will be here a while!
