The play-to-earn (P2E) game Axie Infinity's sidechain Ronin has continued to adopt measures to improve bridge safety following a historic hack on March 23 this year, in which he lost about R$3 billion in cryptocurrencies in values at the time. Ronin has added three new validators to the network this time, bringing the total to 17. The recent addition, according to Ronin's Sky Mavis, is another step toward their initial goal of 21 validators. Efficient Frontier, Community Gaming, and Nansen.ai are the new validators. Network validators have a crucial responsibility to guarantee the proper processing of all transactions on the network, as Sky Mavis emphasized. Additionally, they support the ecosystem, and their evaluations are based on what they have done to support it. As part of Sky Mavis' commitment to bolstering our security, the company said that the validators chosen today were chosen to ensure that Ronin had active, responsive, and secure validators supporting the network.

Frontier Effective

Market maker and algorithmic digital asset trader Efficient Frontier (EF) operates on both centralized and decentralized exchanges. Sky Mavis claims that the EF team and Sky Mavis have been collaborating since 2020. Their primary goals are to establish a market for the Ronin network and guarantee token liquidity throughout the ecosystem. The Ronin node's stability and security will be ensured by this corporate team, according to Sky Mavis.

Social gaming

Community Gaming, an all-in-one platform that is creating a foundation to support community growth in Web 3.0 gaming and esports, is the other new validator. Sky Mavis summarized the organization's goal as "to enable millions of gamers to monetize their passion for gaming by providing a platform that teams of players, organizers, and game developers with the tools they need to create, facilitate, and participate in esports tournaments and missions."

nansen.ai

Last but not least, Nansen.ai, a blockchain analytics platform that combines on-chain data with a database containing millions of wallet data, is the most recent new validator. The business claims that Nansen offers comprehensive information regarding the Ronin Network data.

Ronin to Hack

Five of the nine validator node keys on the sidechain were compromised during the Axie Infinity Ronin hack in March, as CriptoFacil reported. The hackers gained access to the nodes using stolen private keys to launch the attack. They then obtained access to the stolen tokens by fabricating false withdrawals. These keys were used by the hacker to take 25.5 million in USD Coin (USDC) stablecoin and 173,000 Ether (ETH). Later, Sky Mavis raised money to counter the attack, including from Binance. The business also disclosed that refunds for impacted customers started on June 28.
