Axie infinity has been doing good over the years. Since the crypto winter started they had some of the setbacks. Like scholarship reduced and also the amount of new people boarding into the game has reduced. But the token for the game continues to stay high. So I think the expansion of the axie universe is going to be a profitable investment.
If you are playing the game or hiring other players to play for you and routing your investments through scholarship then it would be a good long term investment. Now coming to the topic, they are running some of the cool events this year.

Another update to watch out is the budget axie. The team behind the axie infinity has recognized the issue of the onboarding. And as the game gets more expensive to play they would be facing the cashflow issues. So they need to shift the budget axie and other game updates in their favor. So that they can easily make the game accessible to all the players.
The submission deadline for the budget axie would be Feb 10. So you should keep track of their twitter on how to get into the game.
