Atomic Wallet - For All Your Crypto Neds?

Do repost and rate:

I will be honest, before PublishOX began sharing the Atomic Wallet on their website, I wasn't aware of the wallet. But I was excited to learn more about it.

As a PublishOx user, I'm always looking for "the perfect" wallet that offers everything that suits my needs.  Those needs are as follows; 1) a wallet that supports all the coins I earn from PublishOx and can easily be sent to. 2) Being able to Exchange those coins for other coins I desire more within the same app.  3) Coin Staking Abilities for Passive Income  4) The ability to purchase other coins with cash within the app.  5) Great app UI and usability.  6) Constant app updates from the developers for improvement and safety.

As you may have already thought, I have high demands for the wallets that I decide to use, because I'm very careful about where I keep some of my portfolio, where I trust inputing banking information to buy other cryptos and so on.  I think we should all be careful about this.  After-all, we all work so hard to earn our money, I think we should work just as hard to protect our money as well.

So without any further delay, let's dig into the Atomic Wallet, giving a overview of the app, going over many of it features.  What I like and what I don't like.  And now that you know what I'm looking for in a wallet, you'll be able to understand my perspective better and also perhaps understand if the wallet is a good fit for you as well.

1) Atomic Wallet App UI / Design

I must say, my very first impression upon opening the Atomic Wallet was amazing.  I was a big fan of the design of this wallet and still am.  From the distinctive and contrasting colors,  easy to see large coin logos and names, along with also showing you the current price, daily percentage and also how much you hold of each coin in the wallet.  It's a very simplistic design, but that definitely in this case is a great thing.  It makes everything on your screen easier to read, with less mess or non-essential details to deal with.  While having an appealing visual designed wallet isn't the most important of my wallet demands.  It definitely does make the user experience better, which if you plan on using it every day could make a small difference in your life.

This definitely goes down as a plus for the app.

2) Support for All PublishOx Coins & My Other Favorites

I joined PublishOx at the beginning of 2020 and I have loved it.  Not only have I learned a lot, but I also have been able to make a little money on the side as well. I first began just reading the articles, tipping and collecting my own tips as most people probably do.  But recently I have began to create my articles as well and with that came even more income.  It was a great thing, but at the beginning I was finding it difficult to have a wallet that I liked that also supported all the coins I was earning from PublishOx.  Not only that, but I wanted a wallet that would support all of the coins I like.  I know there are some wallets out there that can do this, but for me personally I would prefer a place I can exchange these coins for something I would prefer to have more.  (I will continue this later) And that was always difficult for me to find.

But after I found this app and began using it, suddenly each week when PublishOx would send out the earning my life was much simpler. Right now on PublishOx they are giving out DAI, Basic Attention Token (BAT) and Loopring (LRC), all of which are supported on the Atomic Wallet.  Rumors have been floating around that in the future Ethereum (ETH) will be given out as well, and of course Ethereum is also supported on the Atomic Wallet.  Not only that, but some of my other favorite coins are supported as well such as, Bitcoin (BTC), Cardano (ADA), USDCoin (USDC), Zilliqa (ZIL), Linkchain (LINK) and I could go on and on.  If the coin is somewhat popular and not a scam, chances are that it will be supported on the Atomic Wallet.

3) Exchanging Coins Within the Wallet

Having the ability to be able to exchange my coins for different coins within the wallet is possibly the most vital and important detail for me when deciding if I will continue using the app.  It makes my life much easier and more convenient rather than having to send coins all over the place to get the crypto I am wanting.  I love earning income on PublishOx, but I will be honest with you and tell you that all of the coins they give out now, I don't have any interest in HODLING for the long-term.  They aren't the coins that I'm focused on at the moment.  So that brings me to my need of wanting to be able exchange DAI, Loopring, BAT, and any other future coin within the app.  Before I was sending my DAI and BAT to COINBASE where I would exchange them.  But Coinbase didn't support Loopring, so I would send that to BINANCE where I could exchange the LRC.  I think you are starting to understand why I was wanting a wallet where I could do everything in one place, and that's exactly what I could do.  Most trading pairs are offered, while there are some that are not.

Well done Atomic Wallet, I love having this feature within the app.

4)Coin Staking Abilities for Passive Income

I must say that within the last year I have become all about Staking coins, or any other way that I can gain a passive income from my portfolio.  So with that said, I definitely would want staking to be offered within the app, and Atomic Wallet does in fact offer staking within the app.  Not only do they offer staking within the app, but they offer very competitive rates to other places/exchanges out there, and as far as Tezos, the rate is much better than what Coinbase offers.  The rates for the staking of coins on the Atomic Wallet go as follows;  Cosmos (ATOM) - 10%, Tezos XTZ - 7%, Atomic Wallet Token (AWC) 20%, Tron (TRX) - 5%, Ontology (ONT-ONG) - 5.6%, NEO (NEO) - 1.4%, Komodo (KMD) - 5.1%, ALgorand (ALGO) - 5.6%, Vechain (VET) - 1.63%, and they also offer Airdrops for JUST, BTT, and WINK as well.   I fully expect the list to expand as more coins begin to offer staking capabilities, and hope that they will offer staking for Cardano, possibly Linkchain and more.

Another great job by the team at Atomic Wallet.

5) Constant app updates from the developers for improvement and safety

When using a wallet app on your smartphone, you are giving a lot of your trust to the developers of the app.  Many people take this for granted, but it is so important that the developers continue to support the app, protect it from vulnerabilities, and continue to improve it. After all, this is your hard earned money we are talking about here. Just by going to the app store on the iPhone was able to see that the developers have updated the app 6 times within the last 3 months.  I think that is great.  And with the details they share with each update, it is clear that they are striving to continue to do their best to protect you, and give you the best experience possible, you couldn't ask for anything better.  Another great aspect for the Atomic Wallet.

6)The Ability to Purchase Other Coins with Cash Within the App

As I mentioned before, I'm wanting a one-stop-shop for all my crypto needs, and that includes the ability to purchase other coins with cash within the app.  Not only do I like to have a passive-income with my coins, but each week I'm always wanting to buy more Bitcoin, Ethereum and a few others as well.  There is positive news, and also some negative news for this with the Atomic Wallet.  First the positive news.  You are able to buy many coins on the Atomic Wallet app with USD, which is very awesome.  I love the convenience that this app can give you.  But at the same time, I found the fees quite high. When compared to a place like Binance that I regularly use.

On both the Atomic Wallet app, and the Binance app, I inputed an order of 100 USD in Bitcoin.  When making the same exact purchase through Binance I was able to receive 0.001+ extra Bitcoin.  Which may not seem like much, but right now that is about $9 extra money, and if Bitcoin goes to the moon in price in a few years time.  That extra money could be worth even more.  I am all about saving money, and getting extra coins for my hard-earned money.  So while I love the convenience that the Atomic Wallet offers, I wouldn't recommend you to buy your coins there with cash.

IN CONCLUSION

I must say, I really liked the Atomic Wallet much more than I expected to.  I have never really used wallet apps before, but after going through the app I definitely became a fan of this app, and what it offers me.  I especially was a fan of it having such a large base of supported coins, meaning all my earnings from PublishOx can be sent there.  And once sent there, I can exchange them for almost any other coin that I want.  I really enjoy the design of the app, and just find it really easy on the eyes, and great to look at.  The wallet offers great staking abilities at a very great return rate.  The only downside to the wallet is just the purchasing fees with USD.

With all that said, I highly recommend you to use the Atomic Wallet, I know that I will be keeping it on my iPhone.
