Atlas Earth - What is it? Is it worth it?

Atlas Earth has been really pushing in the ad section and they have been primarily pushing their ads in the cryptoverse so chances are that you have seen an ad for it by now. I wanted to walk you through what the game actually is and how to play and to see if it's worth it or not.

What is the game?

It is a augmented reality mobile game. You can walk around the world and your avatar will follow your steps in-game. The World is split into 30foot by 30foot parcels of land that you can buy. Each parcel of land earns you passive rent for just holding it. The more land you hold the more you hold. Once you earn $5 of rent you can withdraw to Paypal. That is the general theme of the game.

How do you play the game?

The game is very simple. You walk around the real world while having this app open and you collect Diamonds spread across the world. You use those Diamonds to spin the wheel 3 times a day. Spinning the wheels can get your Atlas Bucks or more diamonds. Once you get 100 Atlas Bucks you can purchase a plot of land. Rinse and repeat.

Here is what the main screen looks like.

In that screenshot in the top right you can see I have 111 Atlas Bucks. Which means I can go purchase a new plot of land. You can also see those floating diamonds in the land. Once you walk towards them and they are within your circle you can click on it and collect that Diamond. 

Each plot of land can either be a Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary. That is important because each plot of lands earns a different amount of rent.

You won't know the rarity of the plot of land until after you purchase it. The other part to the game besides buying land is your passport. As you travel around the world and enter different cities or states or countries you will be able to purchase a passport badge for that area for 200 Atlas Bucks. If you own between 1 and 10 badges you will earn an extra 5% on your rent.

11-30 badges equal 10% boost

31-60 badges equal 15% boost

61-100 badges equal 20% boost

101-9999 badges equal 25% boost

Each badge costs 200 Atlas Bucks so it's a give and take on if it's worth it. Is 1 badge worth the cost of 2 plots of land? I think it depends on if you have enough plots of lands but we will break it down in the next section. 

Is it worth it?

So this was me about a week ago. I took this screenshot because I had 10 properties and it would be better for my math that I am about to do. I am up to 12 plots of lands right now but for the sake of this article we are going to assume I have these 10 plots of land.cal

By those numbers here is what I would earn if I do nothing else

Now I have gotten level 1 Passport so that means I earn 5% more on my rent

If I do nothing else I will earn $0.41 per year. That is pretty terrible. However that is if I do nothing else. I plan to keep playing and keep earning more and more plots of land. The beauty of this game is that the earning is 100% passive. You only need to play if you want to up your earnings.

That is the down and dirty of the game. There is obviously way more to it then that.

You can watch ads to boost your earning rate by 30% (sometimes there are 50% events) for an hour up to 6 hours at a time.

You can watch an ad every 20 minutes to get 2 Atlas Bucks.

There are landmarks that are going to be released soon into the game

There will be an option to sell your plots of land later down the road.

You can connect a Debit Card or Credit Card and earn passive on making purchases at various stores.
