As one of the early Robinhood Crypto Wallet Beta testers, I have the opportunity to try out their crypto wallet app. It started out pretty simple and bland like one would expect when Beta testing and over the last few months they have added a ton of different features to the wallet. These range from an ever-increasing number of tokens you can trade for on the Polygon blockchain to NFT management. 

When they added the NFT function I assumed that with the addition there would be a lull in large updates. Boy oh boy was I wrong though as adding the NFT function is a minor update compared to what they have now added. This major update was the addition of the Ethereum blockchain! While swaps for these tokens are not enabled users are able to custody ERC-20 tokens, NFTs, and dApps! This was not something that I anticipated at all because Robinhood had previously made a huge point out of building upon the Polygon network. 

Currently, gas fees are in my opinion too high to try and test things out so I have not been able to really test things out but I cannot wait. If it functions as well as the Polygon offering has then this will be a very interesting entry into the centralized crypto wallet market. It could very well be a solid replacement to a wallet like Coinbases stand alone wallet. Coinbase's wallet has issues with high transaction fees no matter what the network is like which is a huge negative Robinhood has a chance to break this mold and be different. 

Overall I am very happy with the progress that the Robinhood development team has made. Considering the practically basement level hopes I had for them they really have gone above and beyond building out a product that while not perfect does give people within there lane a run for their money!
