Polkadot's parachain feature is the most talked about feature that is likely to help polkadot go ahead of the ETH ecosystem in near future. There are many open source projects out there that are already working with this feature for making various integration and bridges on their blockchain.
Arweave Network has decided to work on a bounty that builds an archival bridge for Arweave Network and Polkadot. This new bridge would watch the Polkadot chain and it's parachain for the transactions and package them with deployment to the Arweave Network.
The purpose of the bounty is to create a solution that can allow anyone in near future to release similar bridge chains for archival data or any other purpose by making use of polkadot and it's parachains.

Proposed bounty is set at 7500 USD. If you're open source developer, consider giving it a shot, who knows your solution may get accepted.
What could be possible use case of such solution?
In current scenario, arweave wants to make use of it for storing some data permanently over their blockchain.
What about other usage scenarios? Logging and archival of financial ledgers is one possible usage scenario. Let's assume there is one parachain that makes use of the polkadot for it's specific LEDGER transactions. And it wants to archive the logs for later search and retrieval purpose. That could be one possible use case.
If the bounty is executed and the solution is designed. This solution can be later repurposed for similar other use case.
Currently this solution would focus on the deployment of the Arweave Network but considering this project is open source, that means in near future, anyone can fork it for deployment on any other chain.
