Yearn.finance (YFI) and Akropolis (AKRO) will collaborate and share development resources to bolster their respective development agendas, according to a blog post published on Nov. 30.
- Akropolis will gain access to Yearn, Pickle, and Cream products, and integrate its solutions into them
- Yearn will be able to use Akropolis’ new investment strategies, and leverage its business development expertise and institutional client network
- Yearn has announced multiple mergers and collaborations in the past few weeks, including those with SushiSwap and Pickle Finance
- As a consequence of Yearn's other mergers, Akropolis’ vaults will merge with Yearn v2 vaults and become eligible to earn Pickle tokens
- Yearn.finance has also announced a merger with Cover Protocol (COVER), with the intention of boosting insurance coverage in the DeFi space
- Akropolis has been the victim of an exploit, losing $2 million via a flash attack in Nov. 2020
