An Introduction to The Biblical Legends Anthology Series Bundle

Several years ago, I hit upon a bright idea and put out a call for submissions to a speculative fiction anthology I planned to publish. At the time, I used CreateSpace, a small independent publishing platform that has since been purchased by Amazon. After receiving several submissions, the Garden of Eden Anthology was born.

After successfully publishing Garden of Eden in both print and e-book, I decided to publish another anthology. Taking on the theme of Sodom & Gomorrah, I named it Sulfurings: Tales from Sodom & Gomorrah

I received more submissions for Sulfurings than I did for Garden of Eden. As a result, it includes more stories from more authors. I was so inspired by some of the stories in this anthology that I decided to write one myself and included it, as well. The story is titled "Solomon's Lot".

When that anthology was well received, I announced a third anthology in the Biblical Legends Anthology Series. Deluge: Stories of Survival & Tragedy in the Great Flood features the first novelette in the series.

Last year, I thought that I'd wrap these three anthologies into a bundle and sell them as a single unit. I did that late in the year and have been selling them in physical locations at grocery stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. They've become quite popular.

Initially, I wanted to publish the books through Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) as I do all of my books. But there was one glitch. Amazon KDP didn't like my cover. They told me it couldn't feature the covers of the three books included and it couldn't be called a "bundle" because that implied that audio and video files might be included even though my book description doesn't mention audio or video. Ironically, they published the e-book version of the bundle while balking at the print version. I must admit, I was a bit upset about this.

Instead of changing the cover as Amazon wanted me to do, I went another route to publish the print book. Today, you can get that book on my website but not on Amazon. You can, of course, purchase the e-book on Amazon, but it's also available on my website

If you like speculative fiction that incorporates elements from the science fiction, fantasy, horror, and apocalyptic genres, as well as a dash of satire here and there, then the Biblical Legends Anthology Series Bundle should be right up your alley. I'd be honored if you'd check it out.
