Surfing the Crypto-Kosmos today, I got a little bit confused...
Apparently one has to be extra attentive to notice small differences in ticker names:
In my former article, I already got a little bit confused about two slightly different ticker names : AMP and AMPL.
As you will see, there can always be a reason to even become a little bit more confused... :
Today, trying to use a converter to see the $ worth of one received tip in AMPL here in PublishOx, I bumped into another ticker slightly different from the other two before mentioned:
AMB
Apparently, I am not the only one to be confused by reason of those ressembling ticker names, see this article as a prove:

Vadim Balashov and Andrei Nikiforov, both assistant professors of finance at Rutgers University–Camden, found that in companies with similar names or tickers, five percent of their total trading volume was caused by news involving an unrelated company!
AMB is not AMP is not AMPL !

What is AMPLEFORTH(AMPL) ?
Ampleforth is a cryptocurrency which has an elastic supply. Elastic supply means that there is no fixed supply, and as demand for Ampleforth (AMPL) increases, more AMPL is issued to maintain stability. This stability makes AMPL more appropriate for smart contact transactions. However, unlike inflationary currencies, when demand increases AMPL issues new coins to holders based on their current holdings. For example, if demand for AMPL goes up 20%, AMPL holders will see their holdings grow by 20%, thus maintaining price-per-coin stability. This elastic supply protocol is based on Ethereum smart contract technology to ensure the automated issuance of new AMPL tokens on a daily basis, based on the changes in demand. While AMPL holders can earn more coins by simply holding and waiting for demand-linked inflation payouts, they can also provide AMPL tokens as liquidity for decentralized markets and exchanges.
As You can see, dear reader, everyday a newbie is becoming more and more aware and attent to remark slight differences in ticker names, meanwhile also learning about their differences in value, use cases and other points...
