It's been a while that we know Amazon is looking for many experts in blockchain.
But now Amazon position is very open about it, but let's be clear they are looking for blockchain experts but they didn't announced yet that they bought any crypto currency.
Many think that the BTC and market pump happening right now is because of this.
But I think the real reason is that shorts are being liquidated (like a lot of them).
Anyway I want to talk more about Amazon.
There are many rumors about Amazon and BTC.
One of the gossip is the Amazon is planning to accept BTC payments pretty soon and another is that Amazon will create an Amazon token.
For the moment nothing is confirmed yet.
The only thing that is crystal clear is that Amazon is looking for people that know the blockchain field.
WHAT POSITIONS AMAZON POSTED?
It's actually very easy to discover, you have to visit amazon.jobs.com (here) and you can search "blockchain" and there are 70+ jobs posted at the moment worldwide.
Many of this position require that you have some kind of knowledge of the blockchain technology, others are more specific.
Some of the position are the following:

- Software Development Engineer II - AWS Blockchain
- Blockchain Specialist SA
The Blockchain Specialist SA is the most interesting position (it's been posted the 13th May).
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect for its Amazon Managed Blockchain Service, a fully managed service that makes it easy for customers to create and managed scalable blockchain networks using the popular open source frameworks Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum.
You will collaborate with our customers to build their next-generation applications using our blockchain technologies. We see customers across a variety of industries including financial services, supply chain, healthcare, and entertainment beginning to leverage blockchain technologies to make it more efficient and transparent to transact and share data.
Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, partnering with Business Development, Account Teams and Service Teams, sharing customer needs to help inform the roadmap for Amazon Managed Blockchain service.
In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.
Specialist Solutions Architects are thought leaders in AWS technology and industry trends, as such you will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) for Blockchain Technology. You will also advise customers on best practices leveraging Amazon Managed Blockchain services through; workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences.
If you can advise AWS customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us.
So you don't have to be a genius to understand what position Amazon is taking.
And it is for the long run.
Amazon looks like is going all in, expanding their huge ecosystem (and they are not really hiding in it).
Honestly as long I don't see it I don't believe it but there are many bulls around, but let's say they are shy bulls.
