If you are reading this and looking for an entry-level position or internship, you might be a perfect fit as a technical educator https://web3.bamboohr.com/jobs/

Due to recent staking algorithm changes, unfortunately most nominators staking < ~ 200 DOT are not receiving rewards. This is due to technical limitations that developers are working diligently on potential fixes. Off-chain nominating is recommended if you are nominating less than this amount..

Dr. Fatemeh Shiraz and Bill Laboon gave a talk at SEBAversity on Blockchain Scalability and Interoperability, Monday Oct 5th. https://sebaversity.swiss/events/introduction-to-blockchain-interoperability-scalability/

Reminder that if you are still running sentry nodes, you should be removing them from your setup: https://github.com/paritytech/substrate/issues/6845

Interested in applying for a Treasury Proposal to help develop the Polkadot or Kusama ecosystem? You can find instructions here: https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/en/learn-treasury#creating-a-treasury-proposal

Need to convert a Polkadot address to a Kusama address or vice-versa? The Polkadot wiki has a tool for that: https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/en/learn-accounts#address-changer

Polkadot and Kusama hosts are built with Substrate, but changes to the runtime only occur as the result of a runtime upgrade via referendum. You may see updates in the "Substrate News" section that only come to the mainnets after a long time, or even not at all if they are not relevant to them.
