There are many people has misconception about freelancing or freelancers as they think freelancer means money making robot who has a lots of money. Luckily some make huge money by doing freelancing but that doesn’t mean everyone is making the same. For example all business individuals are not equally rich.
Ups and downs is very common in every business and service also in freelancing. When clients doesn’t offer work, a freelancer also go through frustration but none can understand the situation they go through. But if we have patience we can get back our good days. But some got impatient and decide to leave the world become cruel for them.
Few years ago there was a news got viral in social media at my place and it was a freelancer who committed suicide and before suicide he wrote a letter to his friends and family. It was very painful that he was in debt and also unable to bear and family expenses. He had no pressure or mental torture from family but from those who gave him money for their interest.
You may wonder, whenever I visit my relative house they expect a lot from me and when I show that I'm unable to reach their expectations they start telling me the stories of successful freelancers they met. They start comparing me with them and try to underestimate me or try to make me feel down. But its okay! They doesn’t deserve my time so I decide to get into my work that I never need to be closer to such people who only knows how to use others and don't know how to respect others.
For them freelancers are not human being, they are just money making machines. Since the beginning I always try to earn as much I need to live a better life and never need to lend loans from others because asking for money from others is beyond my personality. Whatever I'm not here to explain what I am but what I feel. Today I'm a crypto earner. I'm not rich but I'm happy that I can bear my expenses including my father's expenses as he is a old and disabled guy for many years. My straggle start in 2008 and crypto currency made my life easier by the grace of Almighty.
I've seen ups and downs in my life as a freelancer. Honestly I got frustrated and again got self motivated, start working hard and develop qualities, had failure in marketplace where there a tough competition amongst experts. I made a little amount but when I found crypto, my problems were almost solved. But I still believe we shouldn’t judge other's life as many does. A freelancer making more money that doesn’t mean all the freelancers are making the same amount.
I've heard saying a teacher (who should have enough knowledge as a teacher) " I'm a service holder not a businessman who always have more money." So her knowledge allow her thinking this way that businessmen make huge money, she also believes freelancer are like money making machine. She is not alone, people like her also thinks that freelancers are like ATM booth where from they can pick money as much they want. Anyway, I wish they get the bleedings of wisdom from Almighty. We are unable to change their mentality or mind set.
