#3 how to set up a 3rd party wallet on the Piggy

Do repost and rate:

Hello everybody,

welcome back on my Blog. Today I want to show you how you can even further increase your passive income.

Use your vPiggy to stake other coins as well - just care if you want to mine as well (as Id recommend) you should only let 2 wallets staking / piggy else either the mining or the staking wont goin the maximum profit. Since the price isnt that bad for blueboxowners or nano citizens (will come back to it in a later post) Id rather buy a second one.

If you have troubles setting up da specific wallet on the vPiggy let me know in the comments/send me a DM in the Discord than I might write an other post about it or add it here.

1.) log in to your piggy with your Desktop Symbol which was created in Blog #1

2.) str + alt + t - so you can open a Commandline and type in firefox

3.) now you have to do some research - usually every coin has more than just one block explorer.

Your Topic is now to find that explorer that offers the possibility to find the POS

https://pivx.ccore.online/ for example

Just be carefull the labeling is usually logarithmic => that means in the figure above the fat line what most inputs have is arroung 500-550.

=> you know your inputs will have to be 500-550 or a multiple number of it (Id personally recommend taking at least 10 inputs or its not worth the efford, but its up 2 you.)

That information you need for blog #4 - how to set up the wallet as a staking wallet

4.) you have to get the source usually from the explorer theres a link to the source that was why I start with the search for the correct inputs

Some People told me its hard through all the links to find the correct one.

Its not so difficult - look right theres usually a Point named "Releases" if you click there you automatically find the latest release

5.) Now grab the correct Version for your Piggy

Keep in mind you are on Linux and on a 64 bit System => pivx-5.0.1-x86_64-linux-gnu is the correct one. Usually every single POS Coin has such a Version - if not dont hessitate and ask in their discord.

6.) Just extract it under Piggy\Wallets and start the -qt Wallet for the first time.

7.) either you wait until you synced naturally or you download the according bootstrap.

How you can use the bootstrap was explained in Blog #2 - if you have specific troubles in the coin you like feel free to ask.

Congratullation - you have sucessfully set up a 3rd Party Wallet like: pivx - and believe me they have a ton of forks.

https://poslist.org/ here you can find some coins as well.

Id recommend instantly reading the next blog to prepare the wallet as good as you can for staking.
