I have been a fan of the COIN app for over a year. So far it has been a bit of a money pit, but I still find it amusing. Here are some features that it needs to add.
Referal upgrades
- There should have a notification for when someone signs up through your referal link. Every so often someone signs up though my link, for which I am so thankful, but I only find out when I remember to check.
- The should identify which of your referreds are still active and which are dormant. Maybe a way to nudge the dormant to get active again. This feature is one of the only thing the pi network app does well.
- COIN should also steal the grouping feature from the pi app. A month per month reward for activity inside the group could increase engagement.
Big Geoclaims
- I would love a feature that let me check if I have hit any big Geoclaims today. I sometimes mine on long drives or trainrides so it would be nice to see if I hit any jack pots after the fact.
- Maybe a top 10 of the largest geomines I found that day.
Crypto Spot Prices
- I would love to be able to see the value of my COIN in XYO, BTC and ETH.
They added daily 5 item checklist a few months ago. It is very handy and can keep you motivated and has a great reward. I would like them to extend these rewards to the daily goals. You would get a reward for hitting your daily COIN total goal. Obviously, have it prorated to the amount and pay once per day. But I think if I hit my 2500 COIN daily goal it is reasonable to expect a 1% bonus.
The 5 goal check list should be customizable and there should be lots to choose from. It's understable that the devs want to encourage the tasks that generate them the lost revenue but there could be more to choose from such as:
- There should be a goal that targets number of tiles geomined in a day.
- How many ads you watch.
- Sending geodrops.
- Accumulating coin totals.
Challenges
- A Mental Excercise Bonus Tracker. I am pretty sure you can only redeem 125 COIN per day through the Metal Exercise feature. It would be nice if they added a tracker to tell you how many you have completed so far today
- Increase (or get rid of the cap) on the Mental Exercise Challenge reward. If I clear 25 tiles I get 25 COIN which is the max reward. If I wanted to clear 125 I should get 125 COIN.
- The reward for the gamified travel challenge needs to be modified. I do not use it because it isn't really worth my time.
I think uses should get am APY HODL bonus paid out monthly. This would discouraged cashing in and create more price stability in XYO.
