Today I learned that the XMR Cryptocurrency Miner is actually a Trojan Downloader. This is a severe threat as it is capable of downloading other unwanted and potentially dangerous applications. Many of these applications can have the ability to steal your personal information, your banking information, cryptocurrency information, and a plethora of others. Buyer beware of this and other mining software that you download via the internet!
