And I find myself, wishing I could just say no
But alas, I am bound, by the hands of time
To trudge through this day,
as if it were a climb I try to find joy,
in the small moments of peace
But they are so few and far between,
they feel like a tease So here I sit, on this
Monday so dreary Hoping that somehow,
it won't be so bleary But deep down I know,
that's just a fantasy For Mondays
like this, are all too often a reality.
