Today, I would like to speak about an older scam which was called Minings.in. Their website isn't currently available due to the fact that they ended their activity as a scam.
Minings.in was a website which offered high percentages (3% daily) on your TRX (Tron) deposit. The main problem was, if you deposited your assets, you were able to withdraw only these 3%, not the deposited amount, so it took for about a month to be in profit with them. They also offered a high percentages on refferal's deposits.
Now there is my story:
I found them by an app on Google Play named DAGON, where were some other scams. Because I was really new in cryptocurrency world, I thought that these profits are possible, especially when TRX isn't a stablecoin.
I registered and subscribed with about 10 USDT worth of TRX (at the time the price of TRX was about 0.1 USDT). I withdrawed daily my 3% and I was happy with it. However, then, I decided to invest more. I invested other 100 USDT (1000 TRX) and was making my withdrawals daily.
They also had a Telegram group and the customer support was also on Telegram. I was active in this group and my mind was balancing between two opinions:
Is it a scam or not?
It had good reviews on Trustpilot, because it really worked, but I also found a review which said that they're only something as mining.live (other a bit older scam).
And then it started. In their Telegram, they announced a website maintenance. It was lasting for, I think, two days. Then they renewed it. It started working again.
I was in profit of about 90 USDT (900 TRX), so my total money which got out of this scam was 200 USDT.
In the Telegram group, they announced an anniversary gift to new deposits (10% daily to more than 100,000 TRX, 5% daily to more than 50,000 TRX etc.).
I knew that it will end soon. And it ended. One day, when I woke up and tried to withdraw as always, their website didn't work. There was a text which told me that "Website not found.".
Because I was in profit of about 80%, it wasn't really big problem for me, but after the two months in this Telegram group I knew some people who invested more than I and they didn't even get 10% of their investment back. I tried to create a group with a goal to get money back for these people, who lost something.
About 100 people who lost their money, some of them lost about 10 USD, others lost 5,000 USD. I tried to contact some crypto scam refunding companies, and as they said, I was collecting information about the losses of users.
The final lost, I found, was above 200,000 USD (2,000,000 TRX).

After hours of research, I randomly found an information which said that all funds refund companies are some kind of legal scams. They will ask you for an entry fee and then they'll do nothing.
When this thing happened to me (I was asked to pay 5% od the refund), I decided to stop this activities.
After about a year, I am still getting calls from these fraudulent companies from several countries such as India, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Iran etc.
After that, I've found a lot of other similar scams. Their profits looks unbelievably big, but when something looks unbelievably profitable, it often ends as a scam.
So, this is my story. Don't invest in scams. And the most important recommendation is, don't create these scams. It is not good for environment.
