If you are familiar with the crypto markets for a long time you are probably a bit numb with the volatility levels we are experiencing in the last few months. To give you a bit of historical perspective, according to Investopedia, in 2013 the Bitcoin Price rose to $12,000 and dropped to $225 by the following year, an 81% dip. In 2017 we saw Bitcoin reach $20,000 and in the crypto winter it went as low as $4500 during the initial covid crisis, and that's a 77% dip. Looking at the current scenario Bitcoin last year experienced its new all-time high of $60,000. Since then its market price dropped as low as $17,700, so far dipping 70.5%. The question is will we continue to follow the historical trend and still have a few drops in the market or will we see a shift in this bear market trend a little sooner than ordinary. Regardless of the outcome, it is important to zoom out in the graph once in a while and realize that this dip is quite similar to the ones experienced before, and we have entered the territory where several crypto assets we were dreaming of buying are finally affordable.
Take the time to study the news, and be informed to steer away from failed projects and companies. When the market takes a dip many simply transform into organic matter and simply decompose.
