Week 23 Update

Do repost and rate:

ExpressCrypto as we know is now 100% confirmed gone, BTCpop is down for the time being, and BTC dips below $36k! An unexpected week, as is every week in crypto, but a welcome one. Let's see how the journey's progressing.

This is the week 23 update with the stats from 19-01-2022.

You can find previous weeks here:

Week 23 crypto earnings:
Crypto in USD: ~$24.72
Crypto breakdown:

I sold my FEY. I had intended to keep it a little longer but I did an emergency unstake (and lost 3 FEY), as I thought now's as good a time as ever to sell it for something else. I was going to write how the rate of BTC has dropped from $43k to $38k, but seeing as I woke up today just to see it go down below $36k... I'm happy either way. I'm not a person who keeps track of each coin I have every day, but shortly checking the BTC rate tells me all I need to know for the day, as the majority of my coins follow the same pattern as BTC. I've said this multiple times before, but a lower rate means good news for us faucet users, which makes me extremely motivated to keep building my portfolio. Once again, don't sell low, just HODL for a few months, and I'm sure we'll return back to a better $ value. Anyway... in other news, 1 more week of BFG insanity, and my boxes will expire. I made it with both of the last week's goals, and SPACE is only 10 shy of my goal of 100. I hope to reach that this upcoming week more than anything!

This week's non-crypto earnings:
  • Arc.io: $4.832
  • BeerMoneyForum: $0.067
  • Earnapp: $0.94
Non-crypto = ~$5.83

Week 23 total earnings: ~$30.55

Crypto Idle Miner update: I moved from Diamond league, div. 28 to div. 27. My current HORA balance is around 13000.

Rollercoin update: Not much has changed on my speed with this in the past week. The current price for me is this:

Mini journeys

For now, I won't be adding these tokens in the crypto section above, but I'll add them to the total still (portfolio allocation and the % at the end).

- Week 3 (on 19-01-2022)

+0.0776 BSW

Pipeflare - Week 2 (on 19-01-2022)

0.00015793 ? 0.00348400(+0.00332607)

0.0063129 ? 0.01249018(+0.00617728)

1973.31 ? (+177.49)

I got in the top 300 leaderboards in some of last week's games so I got some extra ZEC. Also, I had a free hardcore supporter trial for 7 days when I signed up which ended, so now the free membership rewards are more accurately represented in this week's stats.

As well as the portfolio allocation

The BTC share stayed the same, but BFG share is increasing quite quickly.

ExpressCrypto update:

The EC we knew is now officially gone. You can check https://expresscrypto.io/maintenance.html for all the details, but the core of the message is they couldn't recover the disks. What does this mean for us who had any funds there? They're asking everyone to fill out a form to give all the details of the account (USD value, the distribution between staking, savings, etc.) and if we're lucky, they'll pay us for the lost balance in BTC after 30-01-2022 when the form closes. I'm sure they have some way to at least verify the approximate value of each account, so this isn't the time to get greedy and claim you had 200x more than you really did, and answering honestly is a more likely way to get actually paid for the lost balance. Luckily for me, I did keep track of each coin and the value of them just 2 days prior to EC shutting down in December, so I could show them the exact balances and the measured value of them during that day. Of course, over time I had received multiple rains and I'm sure the real balance was even more than I had estimated, but I don't really care about that; getting anything back at all would already be a huge win for me. IF everything goes okay, and I do get paid in BTC, that'd mean a $127 increase and technically nothing was lost. However, I do miss my LTC and TRX in particular. RDD had grown to a quite nice stack too :/ Of course, I'll update on that as soon as the balance comes or doesn't come, so we can see if they've been truthful to us so far, or if this form is just another way of further advancing the plot.

What now?

Well, I do have another unfortunate news to share for the time being. Another "wallet" type site I've been using for quite a long time has faced a hardware failure as well! I don't know is this the season of misfortune or what, but I do hope they'll return as well. is the name of the site, you can check more details about it through the link. I didn't really have much there, just 30 or so RDD that I was waiting to build up until EC came back until the last news were shared.

Faucetpay has always been a good option to me, the only really glaring issue I have with the site is the extremely limited pool of coins you can store there, so I'd still have no place for RDD for instance.

I do have a backup backup plan, plan C if you will. Stakecube(ref link has joined the party. Now, I've heard of SC for a decent amount of time, even signed up some months back. Until now, I didn't really see much use for it, but it has turned out to be a gold mine when it comes to storing close to unknown coins. You can also buy mining workers for $4 apiece, gain interest, use exchange, alt faucets, etc. Just look into it if you're interested, it's not so bad. Of course, the most secure wallet to ever exist is a cold wallet but, I'm only talking about microwallets now. Oh, added bonus, on SC, apparently, most coins have no withdrawal fees, and there are no deposit fees. (You can check the detailed info I do love the wallet editor feature, it has helped me immensely with arranging it in a way I prefer. I'll probably be using this service at least for some small-time coins for the time being whenever possible.

Other things: (Mostly related to EC official shutdown this time)
  • I highly recommend Faucet of Bob, they've been handling EC shutting down admirably well. They've got now options to withdraw to Stakecube, Coinbase, and Final Autoclaim, they've worked in a balance mode, internal exchange, and I absolutely love their "Free bits" section. I think one of their best features is the fact that you can buy a membership through Faucetpay starting from 0.011 USDT per month and get really nice benefits compared to the Free user tier. Min top-up is 0.25 USDT though, which I paid with BTC I had on FP. Ref link
  • Swift4claim can now be claimed through Faucetpay.
  • Freebcc is shutting down on 20-03-2022, until then Faucetpay can be used to withdraw whatever you might have left on the balance.
  • Manicoins is unusable even if the website is still available. Consider it shut down.
  • I stopped using Larvelfaucet and Challenge.gives
The next week's goals I want to set up are:
  • Earn 10 DOGE
  • Reach 100 SPACE total
The long-term goals I have:
  • Reach 0.20 BTC (for $1.25 daily staking reward)
  • Reach 1 LTC
  • Reach 100 SPACE (for 100% APY) - 10 SPACE TO GO!
  • Reach 100 mil DUTCHY (for 25% APY)
  • Reach 2500 FUN (for some extra rewards on Freebitco.in)
  • Reach 2100 BFG (for $0.10 daily reward)
  • Reach 4600 RDD (for 2 RDD daily reward) - ON HOLD FOR NOW
  • Reach 5215 TRX (for 1 TRX daily reward) - ON HOLD FOR NOW

Progress to 10 000$:

14% reached

With $30 a week, reaching $10k from here would take:

287 weeks or 5 years and 27 weeks

Some time ago I made a post listing all the current websites I use, which is updated to always reflect the current situation. If you're curious, you can check them out

Thanks once again for reading my post, I hope to see you all next week as well.
