The video streaming service Twitch which is operated by amazon offers now a 10% discount for subscriptions paid via the BitPay crypto payment processor. The fact that Twitch is now offering this discount is a bit surprising as their relation to Bitcoin/Crypto isn't very big as they even remove crypto as a payment method in 2019. In an interview with Cointelegraph the Twitch CEO Bill Zielke that Twitch is the first major merchant to jump on this trend. Furthermore, the Bitpay CMO announced, that the promotion is held by Twitch and not coming from Bitpay which are only acting as payment processor in this case.
Maybe it is Twitch's first step towards Blockchain gaming which would be a big step for crypto/blockchain mass adoption as Twitch is one of the biggest gaming streaming providers.
