Ukraine is defending itself for the eleventh day.

- The Russians still have not captured Kiev. Mariupol, besieged by the Russian army, is in a very difficult situation. The city mayor speaks of a "humanitarian blockade". On Saturday, the Russians violated the terms of the ceasefire and failed to evacuate the inhabitants through humanitarian corridors.
- According to the UN, over a million people have fled Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion
Since the beginning of the war, 38 children have died in Ukraine and 71 have been wounded, NEXTA reports, citing Ludmila Denisova, the Ukrainian commissioner for human rights.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 211 schools have been destroyed or damaged, said Sergey Szkarlet

Minister of Education and Science

"A terrible situation, terrible statistics. Today we see that every day we have more and more schools destroyed or damaged. Today I can say that it is 211 schools. Some of them are completely destroyed, some less. Unfortunately, there are more and more such incidents."

The nearest neighbor Poland helps as well as a Ukrainian

a lot of people from Poland willing to help, which caused even traffic jams. A lot of people were also waiting for their families. The traffic was directed by the police, which redirected everyone to a reception point in Przemysl. We managed to get to Medyka by side routes. We unpacked all the things for refugees that we bought along the way.

Among other things, bread, diapers, personal hygiene items, sweets, bars and fruit mousses. We distributed the sweets we bought the fastest

People wanted to satisfy their hunger right away, right after crossing the border.
For women who carried bags or carried children in their arms, eating a bar was then the most convenient and fastest option
At Medyka, we had a problem to contact ourselves. We had neither coverage nor internet. Even if we had an appointment to take them, it would be very hard to find yourself there. Finally, we made a card with the Cyrillic alphabet "We can help you" written on it. It turned out that Ukrainians are a bit ashamed to approach and ask for help, it was not a normal situation for them. - When we were standing aside, no one approached us, they just passed us by. Then we approached them with an offer of help. There was also a field kitchen, tea and coffee. When we joined the Facebook group "Aid for Ukraine", there were about 60,000 people, and now it's about 430,000. There are also contradictory information on social networks, e.g. that someone has waited a long time at the border and eventually returned with an empty car. I personally cannot believe it.
Seeing people fleeing because of the war, with children in their arms, with bags ... it was terrible. We mainly transported women and children, because men are forbidden to leave Ukraine. There is also a problem with people standing on the Ukrainian side of the border, who wait several hours or more - they are running out of fuel. The Poles started to cross the border and transport gasoline in their canisters. They also transport food for them. - Unfortunately, I heard a story at the border, I don't know how true it is, about the fact that the Ukrainian border guards make problems during check-in. They spend much more time on papermaking than the Polish guard. I also learned from the people I was driving that the Ukrainian guards were trying to pass people without the queue for a bribe. I don't know if this is credible but I heard they want up to $ 1000 per person

I am a Pole and I am proud of my nation that he helps a Ukrainian, although we did not like them too much because of the old times, but the beef changes everything that my nation has shown

people willing to help a Ukrainian can pay something from themselves we will make them a package we will buy clothes and other necessary things we will send to Ukraine every single penny will be useful
