I must say, I really feel as though right now, I have come full circle with Upland. Remember the #UplandPublish0x contest from February? That contest pulled me into Upland. Starting off in Upland was difficult as detailed in my older contest article which can be seen here, but, now that I have been playing for months, I have become a Director with net worth 7.5 million. During these months, I have seen amazing growth and really cool ideas pop out into Upland. I've seen Clovis, Brooklyn, Oakland, Staten Island, Bakersfield, Chicago and next week, I'll see Cleveland! I have seen Spark come out, which is amazing! I have participated in several really fun community events, like tours, building contests and scavenger hunts, one of which I was even blessed with winning!

Cyclonix123 is my IGN in Upland, not Lazyluna678. So I will refer to myself as Cyclonix for the remainder of the article, and may reference my account.

So I really like Upland now, and it is interesting PUBLISH0X has thrown another contest so now I can write about my experiences here. For a short summary of those, my advice is to play the game right now! You'll be hooked very quickly. So thanks to Upland and Publish0x for throwing the prior contest or I would have never found Upland.

But anyway, I digress! We are supposed to be talking about what city should come to Upland Cyclonix, you numpty! Anyone from the Upland server will already know which city I want to come next, but for those of you who don't, it's London. Why?

Well, firstly, it is the closest major city from where I live. I live out in the country and that means my house is probably never going to come to Upland. But the next best thing is being able to walk about a near-ish city and point out buildings I own. London has a lot of well known international landmarks, like Big Ben inside of Queen Elizabeth Tower, the London Eye and Tower Bridge. If Mr EmGi is watching, he already knows that if I have enough money to purchase Big Ben under a reverse auction then I will:

Secondly, I like to think that London would fit the "monopoly" theme of the game. Mainly because there is a London Monopoly board that is what all UK players of the game use, not the American version. As I have played this game a lot, it would be cool to see if the developers took inspiration from the board and made the properties on it collections (as I assume London would be a vanilla release), or if they would throw a curveball and disregard the board entirely.

Finally, I think London would be a prime location because of the different possibilities of Vanilla collections, the high base prices and the history of the city. The city is such a broad place that it is difficult to really pick out where collections will be. I have participated in minting Manhattan pre final collection reveal and also in minting Chicago, and I will say now that both of those cities were the most fun I have had in the game. Vanilla has a nice appeal in that no-one knows where the collections will be, and Visitors can even end up minting URs by accident or on purpose. It's a more level playing field. Secondly, London is very expensive. Mayfair and the like would have a massive base price, which is good, because that would increase dividends if it happened to be a collection but also slow minting, which would allow the developers to steadily release more content.

So, that's all from me. Bring on London is what I say! Trust me when I say this: I cannot wait!
