Robert Farkas one of the Co-founder of the crypto scam dubbed Centra Tech which defrauded $25 millions of U.S nationals have been sentenced to seven years in Jail and to pay a fine of $250,000.
Centra Tech that made their debut on Crypto space in 2017 claiming to be a innovative and success business with a CEO of Harvard University and plans to give their customers a crypto "Centra card" which would allow customers to spend their crypto whenever they go, Topped up with Cryptocurrency was a complete scam! The business was built in a network of lies and by impersonating people.
To make it look credible their had support from the super start boxer Floyd Mayweather and the music producer DJ Khaled, which both also sued and had to declare to SEC (U.S securities and exchange commission) how much received to promote the fraudulent business.
The duo of stars failed to present those payments and had to pay to the Yank authorities, Floyd agreed to reimburse $300,000 and DJ Khaled also paid $50,000 as fine to be involved with it and somehow lure their fans to invest on the scam business.
?Robert Farkas condemned to life his next seven years on prison and will be waiting for his companions that have their trials in November.
?Fraudulent business are increasing on Crypto space and is difficult to tell for sure which one isn't legal business, they invest a lot of money to lure people and make them invest on their dubious business and after they have what they want they just vanish without leaving traces to be found, it's important to always make exhausted research before investing and always be alert!
