The crypto-friendly web browser Opera has now expanded its feature, which lets users buy cryptocurrency directly via its in-built wallet, in the United Kingdom. The web browser teamed up with crypto on-ramp provider Ramp Network for the expansion. Ramp Network supports fiat transfers from bank accounts as well as digital banking app Revolut. Opera is known for supporting cryptocurrency features in its platform.The web browser has 170,000 users now engaging with its built-in Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin wallets every month.

Earlier, Opera’s Andriod browser expanded its crypto buying feature to all 27 EU countries and four more nations, including Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Switzerland. The in-built crypto feature allows users to buy bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH) directly from Opera’s crypto wallet using a Visa or Mastercard debit card. The web browser had partnered with payments firm Wyre for the initiative.
Earlier this year, Opera brought its crypto buying feature to the US users. The feature is also available in the three Scandinavian countries; Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Opera’s in-built crypto wallet has over 170,000 monthly active users.

Opera worked on Friday to woo more wallet users yet by announcing that decentralized application clearinghouse Dapp.com will now power its Web 3 app store. The crypto industry is still an emerging space, but it has the potential to bring about a financial revolution in the world.
