David Grider, an analyst at Fundstrat Global Advisors and a colleague of Charlie Lee, said the lead altcoin Ethereum has a good chance of reaching the $ 10,500 level. According to a U.Today report, some developments may form the basis for this rise of ETH.

Grider's anticipation is partially based on Ethereum-based financial applications or the high popularity of the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
Another basis the analyst relies on for this price prediction is the Ethereum 2.0 update. With this update, the network will be able to perform very large transactions in the same amount as giants such as Visa and Mastercard.
The strategist said on Jan. 19 that Ethereum-based DLT computing could be the future of cloud systems and that ETH is the "best risk / reward investment in the cryptocurrency world."

The leading altcoin has risen 91% this year from $ 780 to $ 1,400. On January 19, Ethereum climbed above the all-time high reached in early January 2018 and set a new ATH, rising to $ 1,439.
