For a long time now the performance of XRP has been lacklustre, it’s safe to say. On top of this, the company behind the token, ripple is under fire with a class action lawsuit filed by investors. With all of this and more, it’s safe to say that the San Francisco-based company is currently at a low.

But despite the hard times that ripple seems to have landed on, journalists from Fast Company have found some of the most revolutionary businesses across the globe coming from many different sectors. One platform that ripple has designed called Xpring allows designers and developers to integrate payments into their applications. This platform has been recognised by Fast Company as one of these innovative initiatives by relational business.

Earlier this week on the 20th of April, Fast Company announced the winners of its world changing ideas awards. This is an event that celebrates projects and different companies that are offering numerous different solutions in a creative way that are proven successful in their field.

Fast company so more than 3000 entries for the award ceremony. 26 of this total we are winners with hundreds coming out as finalists in the end.

Whereas Xpring did not make it to the finals, it did in a very honourable mention for its vision of Internet value. The leading face of Xpring at Ripple, Ethan Beard said of the following on Twitter:

Even though the San Francisco blockchain company is falling on hard times at the minute, it’s nice to see a win for the firm. For more news on this and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
